his 12" full-range loudspeaker stands out with impressive sound even at low frequencies. As a jack-of-all-trades, the unpowered ICOA 12 speaker by LD Systems and its design with a coaxial design and rotating, BEM-optimised CD horn means it is extremely flexible.
The horn-loaded woofer\'s outstanding bass reproduction makes the ICOA 12 the ideal choice for dance schools, musicians, bands and entertainers. It also allows DJs to play sets without the need for a subwoofer. The speaker also makes a good impression in fixed installations due to its freedom of flexibility. The white version with a white grille blends in subtly into any environment and doesn\'t distract. Deployed vertically, the speaker impresses as a satellite; horizontally, it\'s excellent in suspended systems or as a floor monitor. It Delivers a maximum sound pressure level of 123 dB peak and has 1000 Watt peak performance. Thanks to its shock-resistant front grille and ideal 55° tilt angle make the ICOA 12 outstanding as a floor monitor. Placed vertically, the 36 mm dual tilt stand attachment offers the choice of a 0° or 5° tilt angle for optimally adapting the system to the local acoustic environment. Extensive and smart accessories for installation and transport are optionally available. Four aluminium handles with an ergonomic rubber surface provide optimal grip when carrying the speaker.

The MI-112 is a 2-way passive full range loudspeaker that utilizes a 12? cone
low frequency transducer and a 1? throat compression driver with titanium
diaphragm. The multi-angle cabinet is constructed of Complex Aggregate Board
and finished with a hard-wearing black carpet. Two bar handles and a steel grille
sealed against corrosion using a polyamide powder coat finish are provided. A 35
mm tripod socket allows for stand mounting.

With a variety of mounting accessories and decent cosmetics the VL122 is ideally suited to be used in most demanding applications. The VL122 is manufactured from birch plywood and therefore extremely resistant against abuse on the road. The surface is painted with a black 2-component paint that can easily be renovated if sometimes necessary. For the low frequencies and mid frequencies the rugged DND 12350 Transducer is used. High frequencies are radiated from a rotatable 90°*45° CAD optimized constant directivity horn equipped with an Electro-Voice ND6 1.4” driver. The VL122 can be used in passive fullrange mode and can be switched from the outside to ʽbiampedʼ operation. Linear-Phase FIR factory presets for the IRIS-Net RCM-26 module and factory presets for regular digital speaker controllers, e.g. DSP244 are available. EASE and Ulysses data allow fast and precise simulations.

These loudspeakers take everything musicians love about the original B212 loudspeakers and upgrade them with the same bass and treble/mid transducers found in our wildly popular B212A active version for even better sound and power handling. And with integrated overload protection circuitry, they arrive ready to push it to the limit without putting their high or low frequency drivers in danger.
Triumphant transducers
Every stitch of these loudspeakers is built to deliver, but the fact is that their transducers (woofers and tweeters) are the only part you actually hear. While some manufacturers are okay with putting off-the-shelf transducers in their boxes, we custom-design and build ours from scratch. Not only do we wind our own voice coils, we grow the trees that are processed into the paper pulp that becomes the cones. We even machine the frames and backplates. BEHRINGER's quality is truly under control.
Big sound, lightweight, low price
Big here, small there, lots of this, light on that—everyone's got their preferences, but the EUROLIVE B212XL has proportions we can all agree upon. These loudspeakers pack a clean, punchy wallop (and can handle up to 800 Watts), they are easy to lift by their recessed handles (24 lbs) and are available at insanely low prices. Who wouldn't want to hook up with one of these beauties?
Get on the stick…or get on down
The B212XL is perfect either as part of a PA system or as an onstage monitor. If the situation calls for a PA, mount the speakers on stands via the 35mm pole socket. From there, send a line from the MAIN OUT of a mixer (such as a XENYX 1202FX) to a power amplifier (like the EUROPOWER EP1500). Finally, attach a B212XL to each of the amp's outputs. These loudspeakers have inputs for both professional speaker cable and ¼" cable. Because they have two parallel inputs, you can connect up to two of them to any channel on a power amp.
But these loudspeakers don't have to be confined to an upright position. Just lay them on their sides for use as a floor monitor. You'll find that they tilt to the ideal angle for onstage monitor wedge applications.
