The U500® Series vocal sets were developed in Germany to bring you affordable professional technology and sound quality. The radio systems for vocals and speech deliver impressive performance and high reliability, which will certainly exceed your expectations. We have designed the range specifically for professional users to ensure that your performance is an impressive and emotional experience.

Selectable transmit power up to 30 mW provides the U500® vocal sets with a free-field range of over 100 metres. They are available in three frequency bands: 584 – 608 MHz and 655 – 679 MHz, where 12 systems can be operated simultaneously, and 823 – 832 MHz + 863 – 865 MHz, where six systems can be operated at the same time. The True Diversity UHF wireless systems are equipped with an automatic scan facility to find the best free frequency, and convenient one-touch infrared synchronisation of transmitter and receiver to facilitate easy set up.

High-contrast OLED displays provide an excellent overview of functions, with indicators for group, channel, radio frequency, and signal strength and battery status. You can even enter individual usernames. In addition to the squelch function, the transmitterʼs silent pilot tone ensures fail-safe operation. It protects against interference and mutes the receiver if signals without this tone are present. The U500®ʼs efficient technology and high-quality components provide clear, distortion-free transmission without latency or artefacts. Low power consumption means that the transmitter can run for up to 10 hours with 2 x AA batteries.

The U500® Series vocal sets are available with hand-held transmitters, headsets, lavalier microphones and single or double receivers. The hand-held transmitters feature interchangeable microphone capsules to suit singing or speaking.

The WMS40 mini2 Sets ensure brilliant sound and ease of use at an unbeatable price/performance ratio. Unique HDAP (High Definition Audio Performance) technology ensures the best possible, most realistic sound at any time. The SR40 mini2 receiver provides three status LEDs each for channels 1 and 2, indicating ON/OFF status, received signal strength (RF OK), and audio clipping (AF CLIP). The VOLUME control sets the level at the ¼" output jack. Each receiver comes with a universal 12-V switched mode power supply with EU, UK, and US adapters. The illuminated ON/OFF button switches both channels on and off simultaneously. The PT40 mini bodypack is probably the smallest and lightest transmitter in its class. A reliable mini XLR input allows you to connect every compatible AKG miniature microphone. The rugged HT40 mini handheld transmitter features an ON/OFF/MUTE switch and a sturdy wire-mesh cap protecting the cardioid dynamic microphone element. Battery life is the same legendary 30 hours off a single AA battery as for the standard WMS40 models, reducing the need to replace batteries and thus saving real money in the long run. Consumer Alert (for US users) Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: The system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device. Purchasers should also be aware that the FCC is currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems, and these rules are subject to change. The Audio Technica 3000 Series wireless systems provide reliable, professional UHF technology for the most demanding of applications. The ATW-3171 is a frequency agile, true-diversity handheld wireless microphone system including the ATW-R310 receiver and ATW-T371 handheld Transmitter.

The ATW-R310 receiver features frequency adjustable UHF reception, allowing access of up to 200 user selectable channels. Diversity reception allows 2 build-in, independent receivers to relay on a single frequency for the strongest possible reception. The rear panel reveals both unbalanced 1/4" Phone and balanced XLR outputs. A comprehensive back-lit LCD display reveals channel and frequency settings, signal status and transmitter battery status. The receiver also features a ground lift switch, convenient in settings where bad power feeds result in ground hum and noise on the output stage.

The ATW-T371 handheld transmitter features an ATM710 cardioid condenser element. The cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes noise and feed-back at the off-axis sections. The condenser element increases sensitivity and provides details, accurate audio reproduction. Frequency Agile The system operates on UHF frequencies allowing greater channel selectability and range. The transmitter and receiver feature 200 user selectable channels. Diversity Reception The ATW-R310 receiver features dual internal receivers. The receivers relay between each-other, vying for the strongest reception while minimizing noise and signal drop-out. ATW-T371 Handheld Transmitter The handheld transmitter features a cardioid capsule which minimizes noise at the off-axis sections of the microphone.
