Weighing only 18 grams (0.6 oz.), this ultra-light condenser pickup is ideal for acoustic guitar, mandolin, violin, and most other stringed instruments. The C 411 will give a clear and uncolored sound without changing the balance of the instrument. Attaching the C 411 on or near the bridge or anywhere else on the instrument is easy with the included non-marring, reusable, solventfree adhesive compound. C 411 PP: For hardwire applications, with standard XLR connector for phantom powering.

The R?DE NT6 is specifically designed for difficult mounting applications. Although
clearly relevant to instrument mic'ing, the new NT6 is extremely well suited to any
situation where a small 'unobtrusive' but powerful microphone system is required.
The NT6 utilises the 1/2" (externally biased) gold sputtered true condenser transducer
used in the internationally renowned R?DE NT5. The capsule is designed to attach to
a custom made, multi-position swivel mount allowing it to be independently positioned
with ease.
To further increase the versatility of the NT6, it is supplied with 2 thread adaptors - 1/4"
to 5/8" and 1/4" to 3/8" that enable the capsule assembly to be securely attached to a
wide variety of mic stands, tripods and boom poles.
The capsule is connected to the pre-amplifier (body) by a custom 3 m Kevlar? fibre reinforced
cable. Housed within the heavy duty satin-nickel-plated body, is a state-of-the-art low noise
balanced output preamplifier, exhibiting a wide dynamic range and full frequency response.
The surface-mount pre-amplifier circuit also incorporates a 2-position variable pad: 0 dB an -10 dB
attenuation, and a 2-position variable high-pass filter that enables you to step from a flat response
to 80 Hz high pass filter; both conveniently located away from the capsule, providing additional
control without the need to move the capsule once in position.
The NT6 is intended for Film, Television, Broadcast, Live Performance, Theatre, Television,
Surround and Environmental recording applications or wherever your imagination takes you.
The NT6 is produced in R?DE's design and manufacturing facility in Sydney, Australia. Utilising
state of the art computer controlled machining and assembly technologies, R?DE is able to
achieve levels of finish and repeatability of the most exacting standards and tolerances.
The NT6 comes supplied with Microphone Preamp (Body), Capsule, 3 m Kevlar? fibre reinforced
cable, RM5 Stand Mount, 2-axis Swivel Mount, 2 thread adaptors, ZP1 Zip Pouch and WS5 Wind Shield.

This new mic is a performance / price breakthrough. It has an acoustically identical version of the legendary CK1 capsule that is permanently mounted. This combination can handle high output transients as well as subtle harmonics. Also included are switchable 75 and 150Hz 12dB per octave rolloff, and switchable -10 & -20 dB input pad. It is a single pattern (cardioid), and has a frequency response of 20 to 20kHz with 135 dB SPL. Requires 12 to 48V phantom power. Kit comes with bag, windscreen and clip. For more than twenty years, the AKG C 451 with the CK 1 condenser capsule was a standard item on tour riders for sound companies and required by leading engineers for studio projects. When it was discontinued in 1993, there was still a big demand for this microphone. AKG now has an updated version of this classic microphone. The new C 451B provides the same frequency response as the legendary CK 1 with the same slight high-end rise that was the signature of the original. This characteristic makes the C 451B an ideal tool for capturing signals rich in transients such as acoustic guitars, snare drums, hi-hats and for overhead micing of drum kits. The C 451B?s response eliminates the need for heavy EQ on these instruments. The new C 451B has also benefited from newer electronic technology with machine soldering and surface-mount components that improve noise performance and make the microphone much more reliable than the original. Other special features include switchable 10 dB and 20 dB preattenuation pads and switchable low cut filters at 75 Hz or 150 Hz. Standard accessories included are an SA 40 stand adaptor, W 90 windscreen and a rugged zippered bag. Each C 451B also comes with an individual frequency response printout. Three-year warranty. Specification Polar pattern: cardioid Frequency range: 20?20,000 Hz Sensitivity: 9 mV/Pa (-41 dBV re 1 V/Pa) Max. The Shure Model VP88 is a single-point, stereo condenser microphone for use in professional studio recording, field production, electronic news gathering (ENG), and studio broadcasting applications. It combines two condenser cartridges in a single housing to create a stereo audio image of the sound source. It is unique in its ability to capture the realism of a live event and yet withstand rigorous field production environments.

The VP88 uses a mid-side (M-S) configuration. One microphone cartridge (Mid) faces forward to capture on-axis sound using a cardioid pickup pattern. The other microphone cartridge (Side) is bi-directional, capturing sound from either side. The VP88 contains an internal M-S matrix with three settings for different degrees of stereo image seperation. The internal matrix can be bypassed if an external matrix is used or if stereo imaging is done in post-production. Switches on the top of the microphone control output mode, stereo imaging, low-frequency rolloff settings, and battery on/off.

The VP88 can operate on phantom power or an internal 6V battery. The VP88 is supplied with a multi-connector "Y-splitter" cable, foam windscreen, swivel stand adapter, 6-volt battery, and zippered carrying/storage bag. Optional accessories include an isolation mount, a 7.6 m (25 ft) microphone extension cable, a phantom power supply, and a 4.3 m (14 ft) microphone stand.
