The lively sound from the spruce/meranti body has a bright, sweet resonance not unlike Yamahaʼs renowned FGs, and real rosewood is used for the fingerboard and bridge. The handling comfort of the slightly reduced body depth and intermediate scale length will be particularly appreciated by younger players.
The Spruce-top, Mahogany-body F310 guitar is priced like a beginner guitar but sounds and plays like a much more expensive instrument. Yamaha's 30-years of experience making great, affordable guitars has made them one of the most respected names in the industry. They proved that you don't need to spend $1,000 or more to own a very playable instrument that sounds great. Other features include a Rosewood fingerboard, chrome tuners, and full tone quality. Our special offer makes this an especially great buy.

Color Natural | Generations of professional and amateur musicians remember – and still use – their first Yamaha FG. Now, Yamaha has found a way to apply innovative techniques developed for its high-end L-Series handcrafted models to improve tone and playability while maintaining outstanding value. The result: 15 exciting new FG guitars. Each new model features an inverted L-block which creates a deeper low end and a tighter body-neck connection. Additionally, solid spruce tops, die-cast chrome hardware, and unique non-scalloped bracing help these new FG guitars build on the longevity and legendary status of the originals.

-Note: A standard dreadnought cases will not fit this guitar. | The 700 series guitars feature styling and specification driven by the 1000-series guitars but with the exclusive ART pickup system. Designed to capture the guitarʼs full body resonance, ARTʼs ability to faithfully recreate natural tone and dynamics means that the subtle differences between APX and CPX guitars are perfectly recreated, allowing you to pick the guitar that suits your style and know that character will always shine through.
Like all CPX models the new CPX700 II comes with a slightly smaller body than a full-size jumbo. That makes it much more easier to handle. But don\'t worry: The delivered sound is still bigger than life! The handsomely crafted guitar features a solid spruce top and nato back and sides and produces a bright, richly textured sound - one that, thanks to the solid spruce top, will gradually mature. But thatʼs only half the story, because the instrumentʼs new one-way pickup system, in combination with a #3-Band EQ (with integrated tuner, provides a perfect amplified sound too.
