The Turbosound TPX152 2-Way 15" Full Range Loudspeaker is a portable with a high excursion 15” low frequency driver and an aluminium dome 1” compression driver. The 15-inch TX115M Full Range Loudspeaker is ideal for portable PA applications and sound reinforcement. delivering 1,000W of power (250W continuous) with a wide frequency range that captures every nuance of your source audio. The highly robust design with a low distortion waveguide that provides optimal dispersion. The Turbosound TPX152 Loudspeaker also includes durable handles for ease of transportation as well as a rugged powder coated perforated steel mesh grille for exceptional durability.

The Turbosound TPX152 is a 2-way, 15-inch full-range loudspeaker with an extended frequency range, designed for portable PA applications including FOH, side and drum filling as well as music sound reinforcement. The high excursion 15” LF Driver includes a low mass voice coil for improved transient response and punch in the low-end. The aluminium dome 1” compression driver delivers extended high frequency reproduction. Combined together, the two drivers produce an extended frequency range (40 Hz – 20 kHz -10 dB) capturing every nuance of your original audio was it was intended. The drivers are matched using an internal passive crossover network in a reflex-loaded enclosure for optimal audio performance. The low distortion waveguide provides optimal 70° H x 50° V dispersion for optimal audio performance. The result is exceptional audio quality that will easily fill out most environments.

The TPX152 2-Way Loudspeaker encases the LF and HF drivers in the hard wearing carpet covered 18mm (3/4”) wood enclosure. The front of the loudspeaker includes a rugged powder coated perforated steel mesh grille, backed with reticulated foam to protect all the internal components from impact damage. The robust design and construction ensures that the Turbsoound TPX152 Loudspeaker can withstand with rigors of extended live use. The Neutrik speakON NL4 connectors ensure reliable long life operation and can be used for link connection to additional enclosures. The dual angle pole mount is designed for easy mounting with 35mm poles/speaker stands, combined with the wide dispersion to deliver exceptional audience coverage. The design makes it ideal for FOH, side fill and monitoring applications. Additionally, the TPX152 Loudspeaker features durable handles for added manoeuvrability, making life and carrying easier than ever.

Have a look at what goes into their construction -- Cabinets are constructed of high quality particleboard, chosen for its high strength and elasticity, consistent void free makeup and light weight. Another great benefit of this material is its environmental friendliness. Made from southern yellow pine, this material is both abundant and quickly renewable. Accurate CNC routing machines are used to cut every part, assuring consistency with tolerances of one ten thousandth of an inch. Skilled technicians assemble each cabinet by hand, rejecting any defects. Whether covered in durable carpet or the elastomeric spray coating, heavy steel handles and sturdy pole sockets make moving and positioning easy.

The drivers, or speakers in these cabinets, are custom made my Eminence Speaker Corporation® to Yamaha's exacting tolerances. Woofers share design features like high strength curvilinear cones and Dupont KaptonTM voice coil formers. Oxygen-free copper voice coils and oversize strontium ferrite magnets are also used to provide high power handling and long life. The 15" and 18" drivers use cast aluminum frames to support the massive magnet structure, eliminate flex and help dissipate heat. The compression driver that generates the high frequency sound uses a pure titanium diaphragm. This 2" dome is one of the largest in its class, allowing for very high output and low distortion, without the aid of cooling fluids. It's mated to a 90° x 40° custom designed CD (constant directivity) horn with excellent dispersion and response.

Crossover networks that divide the signal going to the woofer and compression driver are constructed with oversized coils, high voltage capacitors, and power resistors designed to provide the best possible sound quality and minimize loss. Overload protection is also included to protect the components.

Connections on these loudspeakers are dual Neutrik Speakon® ¼ jacks for the highest possible strength and current capacity. Two of each connector makes it easy to "daisy chain," or add speakers.

Club V loudspeakers with the C prefix are coated with a heavy-duty elastomeric spray coating. Designed as an installation alternative to the carpeted S versions, they can easily fit any decor. The finish is very tough, and readily paintable to match surroundings. The steel grilles are foam-lined with acoustically transparent material to provide a more subdued appearance.
