A Brilliant Fusion of Leading Yamaha Power, DSP and Network Technologies. Not just an amplifier and a speaker processor in one
The DSP enabled TXn series provides many more benefits than simply saving precious rack space or eliminating cabling. - Rental companies can simplify warehouse inventory - The TXn series amplifier are multi-functional amplifiers that can be used to drive various speaker systems.
- Truly versatile: Not only is the TXn flexible in its I/O formats, but voltage gain/ sensitivity can be adjusted in 0.1dB steps. The TXn can be configured to use with any kind of system.
- TXn can accept multiple digital formats. Staying digital longer with the TXn allows for better S/N structure. Cabling is also lighter with digital.
- Precise control and monitoring of your amplifiers: Detailed control and monitoring parameters unimaginable with conventional amplifiers are now available from a remote location.
- Failsafe security: Combination of analog inputs and card slot inputs provides failsafe signal redundancy. The ultra low latency AES/EBU card's "THRU" output is designed to send signal even in case of power failure on the amplifier.
Onboard DSP
Digital signal processing is an area in which Yamaha quality is legend. All three TXn models incorporate a sophisticated 24-bit ADDA 96-kHz DSP engine that affords an extraordinary range of control and processing capabilities. In addition to basic amplifier control and status monitoring, there is enough DSP power built in to provide extensive speaker processing capabilities that will make external processors unnecessary in most applications. The TXn provides separate input and output processing. The onboard DSP parameters and functions can be accessed directly through the LCD and button interface provided on the front panel of the amplifier, or via Yamaha's amplifier control software running on a computer connected via Ethernet.
Flexible Input Configuration
The TXn series amplifiers feature a Yamaha mini-YGDAI standard card slot that comes fitted with an AES/EBU I/O card for digital input and throughput. The amplifier's balanced analog inputs and throughputs are permanently installed on the rear panel. The analog and digital inputs can be used independently, or signals can be applied to both and mixed or switched automatically for emergency announcements, for example. The original AES/EBU I/O card can be replaced with compatible Yamaha mini-YGDAI cards that provide other digital or analog input/output formats, or with network cards that allow full compatibility with CobraNet or EtherSound audio networks.

BASIC Series - Intelligent Power
BASIC - that's meeting the tightest budgets and professional requirements in reliability, flexibility and sound. Alone or in combination with the other products of the Bittner portfolio. The consequent realisation of the Bittner quality standards indicates once more our understanding of the contracting business. It underlines our philosophy that cost consciousness has nothing to do with giving up standards. Compromise is a word unknown to Bittner Audio! The incorporation of detent potentiometers, clip limiter, protection circuits for any imaginable situation, as well as a first-class production process using only highest-quality components made the BASIC series the choice of most contractors.
Certainly more than basic!

High-tech in professional amplification!
The fP 2400Q is a lightweight and space-saving four-channel power amplifier, ideal for use in high quality touring sound systems as well as in demanding permanent installations. The fP 2400Q offers a diverse choice of applications, such as: multi-channel monitor systems, four-channel reproduction, and compact amplification in active 2-, 3-, and 4-way systems. The fP 2400Q makes possibile the bridge connection of one or two of the two pairs of channels (channel A and B and/or channel C and D). It also features Lab.gruppen?s unique power matching solution, the MLS switch, which offers endless combinations for solving most of the problems related to varying impedances and maximum power capacities of loudspeakers. The latest semiconductor technology is utilized in the new ferrite Power (fP) amplifiers. This, together with Lab.gruppen?s proprietary copper cooling system, Intercooler?, enhances the 2 ohms capacity. Two easily accessible dust filters on the front ensure a clean front-to-rear airflow. Additionally, a new Bi-phase wiring scheme also increases the capacity of the switch mode power supply. This extends the power bandwidth in the low end.
Key Features: 4 x 370 watts @ 8 ? 4 x 380 watts @ 4 ? 4 x 500 watts @ 2 ? (Measured just below clip level, with all 4 channels driven) Light weight and compact: only 8.6 kg (19lbs), 2U high MLS? Switch: Lab.gruppen?s unique power matching for different loads
New Features: Replaces the LAB 1200C Easily accessible dust filters Improved low-end power bandwidth Extruded front panel for increased stability
Besides the traditionally superb Lab.gruppen sonic performance, there is a full line of features to make the fP family functional in all situations from installation to high performance live sound systems:
Regulated switch mode power supply Today there are many lightweight, switch-mode amplifiers in the market. However, the unique Lab.gruppen switch-mode power supply technology offers a number of essential advantages that make it superior to other and seemingly similar power supply designs. The most important features are the regulated power supply and the extreme power efficiency. The regulated power supply easily deals with a very high variation in the AC mains voltage: it can drop by up to 20% below its nominal level - e.g. to 180 V instead of 230 V ? without any problem. Perhaps even greater benefits result from the extreme efficiency of Lab.gruppen amplifiers: only a fraction of the energy from the AC mains is turned into heat. A regulated power supply also presents some other sonic advantages, such as better cone control and the same fast response as a conventional power supply.
Sophisticated protection circuitry, combining: ALS? short circuit protection; the Adaptive Limiting System permits very high peak currents, but keeps the amplifier within the Safe Operation Area DC protection; protects against infrasonic signals VHF protection; protects the loudspeakers against strong very high frequency non-musical signals above the audible range Thermal protection; prevents the amplifier from being overheated. The protection indicators on the front panel are switched on, as a warning, before the protection process is initiated AC protection; shuts down the power supply if the line voltage is outside the operating voltage Clip limiter; prevents severely clipped waveforms from reaching the loudspeakers, whilst maintaining full peak power. |
