Το ME-1 της Allen & Heath είναι μια έξυπνη και συμπαγής συσκευή Personal monitor mixer. Δίνει στον μουσικό εύκολα και γρήγορα τον απολυτό έλεγχο στο προσωπικό του monitor. To ME-1 έχει δυνατότητα μίξης έως 40 κανάλια, δημιουργία Group, 16 Assignable buttons, 16 presets όπου μπορούν να αποθηκεύονται οι τιμές από στάθμες, pan, mutes και assigned buttons. Επίσης υπάρχει δυνατότητα ονομασίας καναλιών, ενώ στην περίπτωση σύνδεσης με την GLD ή την iLive εμφανίζονται αυτομάτως τα ονόματα που χρησιμοποιούμε στην κονσόλα. Χάρη στο ενσωματωμένο μικρόφωνο (ambient mic) ο μουσικός δεν είναι απομονωμένος από το υπόλοιπο της σκηνής όπως επίσης και από το κοινό, διαθέτει ρύθμιση ευαισθησίας το οποίο είναι ανεξάρτητο από το master volume. Διαθέτει OLED οθόνη με ρύθμιση φωτεινότητας και θύρα USB για την αποθήκευση και μεταφορά δεδομένων (settings) και update(firmware). Στο πίσω μέρος διαθέτει έξοδο ακουστικών minijack και jack 1/4“, line out balanced TRS 1/4“, Aux input(stereo) για μετρονόμο ή άλλη χρήση, Link in και out (Ethernet) για σύνδεση σε σειρά με άλλες συσκευές (Daisy chain). Το ME-1 είναι απόλυτα συμβατό με την iLive και GLD. Επίσης έχει την δυνατότητα χρησιμοποιώντας το ME-U hub να συνεργαστεί και με άλλων εταιριών ψηφιακές κονσόλες μέσω Dante, Ethersound ή Madi. Είναι συμβατό και με Aviom Pro16 systems.

With Palmer Monicon, your monitor volume is always under control. The passive mini-mixer with the oversized control is inserted between the stereo output of the notebook, PC or interface and an active monitor system and thus permits convenient and precise volume control of the monitors from the workstation. The passive circuitry with only a few components has absolutely no affect on the sound. Mute and mono buttons make it possible to mute the outputs and merge the stereo output signal into a mono master signal.
The inputs and outputs of the controller are equipped with XLR connectors and the 3.5mm stereo TRS sockets usually found on computers. Combo input sockets also permit connection with 6.3 mm TRS plugs. Thus the Palmer Monicon is compatible with both professional and consumer equipment.
