Η νέα ψηφιακή κονσόλα της Allen & Heath GLD 80 είναι βασισμένη στην επιτυχημένη σειρά aLive, φιλική και εύκολη στην χρήση ακόμα και για όσους δεν έχουν εμπειρία από ψηφιακές κονσόλες. Διαθέτει έγχρωμη Touch screen 8,4” για την απεικόνιση των γραφικών παραστάσεων, και εύκολο χειρισμό drag ʽn drop για την τροποποίηση των layers (inputs/mix outputs setup). Δυνατότητα επέκτασης του συστήματος χρησιμοποιώντας τα Audio Racks AR2412 και AR84 (remote Ι/Ο) τα οποία συνδέονται με την κονσόλα με καλώδιο Cat5 digital snake (πρωτόκολλο dSNAKE) σε απόσταση max 120m.
