To νέο μοντέλο της Yamaha P-255 είναι εφοδιασμένο με πληκτρολόγιο Graded Hammer (GH) που εξομοιώνει με πιστό τρόπο το αντίστοιχο ήχο που συναντάμε στο κλασικό, παραδοσιακό πιάνο. Ο κομψός και σύγχρονος σχεδιασμός, το μικρό βάρος του και η αισθητική "λιτότητα” επιτρέπουν την εύκολη μεταφορά και τοποθέτηση του.
Το Graded Hammer επιχειρεί με απόλυτη επιτυχία την πιστή προσομοίωση της αίσθησης που προσφέρει ένα κλασικό πιάνο. Όπως και στο πραγματικό, παραδοσιακό πιάνο τα πλήκτρα που αντιστοιχούν στις χαμηλότερες νότες είναι βαρύτερα και το αντίθετο, δηλαδή τα πλήκτρα που αντιστοιχούν στις υψηλότερες νότες είναι ελαφρύτερα. Με αυτό επιτυγχάνεται η ρεαλιστική απόδοση της αίσθησης που αφήνει το κλασικό πιάνο. Αυτό συμβαίνει επειδή τα πλήκτρα που απαρτίζουν το P-255 έχουν το ίδιο ακριβώς βάρος με τα αντίστοιχα που συναντάμε στο ακουστικό πιάνο. Επιπλέον προσφέρεται η δυνατότητα αυξομείωσης της αίσθησης του πληκτρολογίου σε Hard/Medium/Soft/Fixed.
Το Stage piano της Yamaha ενσωματώνει 24 ήχους μουσικών οργάνων, εκ των οποίων οι περισσότεροι αφορούν πληκτροφόρα μουσικά όργανα όπως ηλ.πιάνο, εκκλ. Όργανο κτλ. Η πολυφωνία αγγίζει τις 256 νότες. Now continuing this tradition of excellence, Kurzweil introduces our first 76-note fully weighted action Performance Controller, the PC1SE Special Edition. With breathtaking sounds, superior effects and impressive controller capabilities the PC1SE delivers the power of Kurzweil's popular PC1X in an elegant brushed aluminum 76 note enclosure.
