Designed for the ultimate music and movie surround sound experience, the Marantz MM8077 7-channel power amplifier delivers power and detail, and is rated at 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 180 watts per channel into 6 ohms.
The power supply features a high current toroidal power transformer along with high power (71WVDC) filter capacitors with a total 100,000µF capacitance to easily handle sharp short-term transient peaks.

Featuring our unique current feedback discrete power amp output stages that are identical for all channels, the MM8077 is equipped with multiple high current discrete power transistors that feature high slew rate and wide operating bandwidth to extract the most detail from todayʼs high resolution audio formats.
The output devices are mounted on our unique dual extruded aluminum alloy heat sink assembly, configured in a tunnel arrangement that provides both passive and active cooling. The massive heat sinks feature multiple ribbed fins that provide a large passive cooling area, and the assembly is book-ended with a whisper quiet fan that automatically kicks in to provide near silent active cooling when the soundtrack heats up. As the fan is mounted internally directly to the heat sinks, and not externally to the chassis cover as is often the case, even when itʼs running, itʼs designed to be whisper quiet.

For maximum connectivity, the MM8077 features both unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR) inputs, and each amp channel can be configured to use your choice of input connector. The loudspeaker terminals feature audiophile-grade construction, and are gold-plated for maximum signal transfer, and they can easily handle a wide range of audiophile speaker cable connectors.

The MM8077 features a DC trigger input for external power on/off control, and thereʼs also dual RC-5 remote control in/out jacks for connection to a compatible Marantz A/V pre-amp/processor.
The copper-plated chassis provides isolation from extraneous noise, and features a multi-layer reinforced bottom panel assembly for maximum rigidity along with triple-layer top cover. Elegantly finished in anodized black satin, the MM8077 features the classic Marantz ringed porthole display with a blue illumination accent that includes a display on/off function.

The MM7055 power amplifier produces 140 watts of high current output from each of its five channels. This is "real world” power, too, measured across the full audio bandwidth (20 Hz – 20 kHz) at 8 ohms with 0.08% Total Harmonic Distortion. Among other attributes, this means the MM7055 is capable of long-term power delivery into low impedance speakers.

Enjoy immersive multi-channel sound with the Denon AVR-X1600H 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It delivers up to 80W of power at 8 Ohms and features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility for object-based audio support. Built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 support allows the receiver to wirelessly stream music from compatible sources, such as smartphones and tablets. Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity enables the AVR-X1600H to access a variety of internet-based music sources. With six HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, this receiver can act as a video switcher for your HD source components. It will pass through 4K signals along with HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision HDR formats. The receiver also has a USB port for accessing media stored on compatible USB flash drives. The Denon Setup Assistant will appear on your HDMI-connected display to help you through the setup process.
Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos surround sound technology dispenses with channel-based coding in favor of more advanced object-based coding, giving the sound designer the ability to precisely place sounds anywhere in the 3-dimensional space. The AVR-X1600H features the ability to connect a 5.2-channel surround sound speaker system with two additional overhead speakers, or two additional Dolby Atmos-certified up-firing speakers.

DTS:X brings the home theater experience to new heights with its immersive object-based audio technology, which removes the bounds of channels. The flexibility of objects allows for sound to be scaled large or small and moved around the room, leading to a richer, more immersive audio experience in a 5.2.2-channel configuration.

Featuring six HDMI ports, including one located on the front panel, plus an HDMI output, the AVR-X1600H is compatible with 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz content, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, BT.2020, 21:9 video, 3D, eARC, and HDR pass-through. All HDMI ports are HDCP 2.3-compliant for 4K UHD copy-protected content. HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision pass-through are supported for enhanced contrast and color with compatible displays and content. 3D audio is passed through from your compatible display to the receiver via eARC over HDMI.

The receiver guides you through the setup process to help ensure proper configuration. Once you connect the receiver to your display via HDMI, the Denon Setup Assistant appears on your screen to walk you through the setup. Amazon Alexa Voice Control
Control the receiver hands-free with Amazon Alexa and your voice. The receiver uses AKM 32-bit D/A converters for decoding audio from a variety of lossless file types, including ALAC, FLAC, and WAV at up to 24-bit / 196 kHz, along with compatibility for 2.8/5.6 MHz DSD files, which is the audio coding format of SACD. You can play them from memory devices or network sources. The AVR-X1600H also supports other file types such as MP3 and WMA.
Ready for Custom Installation
This receiver features external control and IP control capabilities for easy customization and compatibility with third-party and custom integration solutions. It features IP control capability for 3rd-party control devices and Control4 SDDP (Simple Device Detection Protocol) certification for simple integration with Control4 home automation equipment.
Remote Monitoring Capability
To support quick, reliable assistance from integrators, the AVR-X1600H features ihiji Invision, Domotz Pro, and OvrC remote monitoring and management interface and service compatibility. These programs allow custom integrators to monitor the status of connected products and troubleshoot remotely from the office or on the go, reducing the time it takes to address the issue.
