Από την εμφάνιση του το 2001, το Nord Electro αποτελεί την φυσική επιλογή για τους μουσικούς που θέλουν ένα synth με αυθεντικές προσομοιώσεις κλασικών ηλ.πιάνων, οργάνων σε ένα όργανο που διακρίνεται όχι μόνο για την κορυφαία ποιότητα ήχων αλλά και για την σχεδιαστική του καινοτομία. Το νέο Nord Electro ενσωματώνει περισσότερη μνήμη, την επιπρόσθετη δυνατότητα split / layer και ένα program section που εστιάζει στην live ερμηνεία περισσότερο από ποτέ. Το Nord 5HP ενσωματώνει δύο (2) Bi-Timbral sound generators προκειμένου να μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε ταυτόχρονα διαφορετικούς ήχους και συνδυασμούς αυτών ( Organ + Organ, Organ + Piano, Organ + Sample Synth or Piano + Sample Synth ), 6 Keyboard split σημεία ( C3 - F5), Group μέχρι και τέσσερα διαφορετικά programs, 3 Live Slots, MIDI Upper Split λειτουργία που ελέγχει όλο το εύρος της sound engine στο Upper Part από εξωτερικό Midi keyboard ενώ παράλληλα χρησιμοποιείτε το keyboard του Nord 5HP για τον πλήρη έλεγχο του Lower Part, 73 πληκτρα ( έξι οκτάβες, E-E) με Velocity sensitive Hammer action Portable πληκτρολόγιο.
