The Stewart ADB-1 is a single channel active direct box that allows an unbalanced source to directly feed a balanced input. Musical instruments, tape recorders, VCRs and sound projectors can be run "direct" to the mixing console, avoiding unnecessary degradation of sound quality. The ADB-1 operates on either phantom power or a 9-volt battery.
FEATURES: Flat response Low distortion Low noise Wide dynamic range No transformer RF protection on input and output Switchable ground isolation Flush mounted slide switches |
2-channel DI box/splitter, active Converts 2 separate unbalanced line inputs (e.g. instruments) into 2 balanced XLR outputs for connecting a mixer Switchable to split mode (input 1 routes the signal to both outputs) Switchable input attenuation: +20 dB, 0 dB, -30 dB Ground-lift switch eliminates ground loop problems 2 signal inputs via XLR connectors 2 low-impedance XLR outputs Microphone phase can be switched Hi cut 8 kHz switchable Modern convex housing design Full rubber housing corners for safe operation Cables can be routed under the housing Operation with 9 V battery |
Passive DI box. Jack input with paralell "THRU" output, transformer balanced XLR output. Attenuable input sensitivity, can handle both line level and speaker level signals.

| Standard active DI box. Can be operated with 9 V batteries or 48 V phantom power. High-impedance input; higher output level than with a passive DI box. Active circuitry allows for high input impedance ( 1 meg. ohm) and higher input sensitivity (typical difference between in and out -4 dB). Maximum output impedance with phantom power operation +10 dB. Output: transformer balanced. The special "floating ground" circuitry enables ground lift even during phantom power operation. Metal case 110 x 73 x 42 mm. |
