Palmer EINS - Amazingly versatile!

Small 1-5W amps have become very popular in recent years. They are fun items but some seem more like toys than real amplifiers.Palmers approach with the EINS was to design a serious true tube amplifier for professional purposes. The speaker simulated output allows you to connect the output of the amp directly to your audio interface. Thanks to the integrated loadbox aspeaker does not need to be connected. Thanks to the unique "HiZ output” you can connect the output of the EINS directly to the input of any amplifier! This way the EINS can be power boosted or used as a preamp or even on your pedalboard.

The Palmer EINS comes with an ECC83 preamp tube (V1) and an ECC82 (V2) power stage tube as standard. Other tube configurations are possible as follows.

• 1: V1:ECC83 - V2:ECC83: Quieter, distorts much faster, a little more gain, lead sound.
• 2: V1:ECC83 - V2:ECC81: Louder than Variation "1“, quieter than the standard configuration, more gain, distorts a little more quickly.
• 3: V1:ECC81 - V2:ECC82: Stays clean a little longer, a little more headroom, darker distortion sound.
• 4: V1:ECC81 - V2:ECC83: The quietest configuration, distortion sets in a little later than with Variation "1“, distortion can be controlled very precisely.

The Palmer MACHT 402 is a 19" stereo power amplifier specially designed for guitar applications. It pumps out 200 watts per channel and 400 watts bridged to drive virtually all speaker cabinets. Featuring a highly efficient switch mode power supply and low noise fan the soft start class D design is protected against overvoltage, DC, short circuits and overheating.

Conventionally named, the channels' Hi and Low controls have been carefully tailored for guitar signals to provide extensive EQ facility, a wide variety of sounds and authentic tube power stage characteristics. Handwired επανέκδοση του μοντέλου 2061 Head στα 20W που κυκλοφόρησε από το 1968 έως το 1973. 2 λάμπες ECC83 στην προενίσχυση, 1 ζεύγος EL84 στο τελικό στάδιο.

Η πρώτη high gain κεφαλή απο την σειρά Terror της Orange, η Dark Terror, είναι μια πραγματικά εκπληκτική κεφαλή με γεμάτο όγκο παραμόρφωσης, καθιστώντας την ιδανικό ταίρι για Hard Rock κιθαρίστες που αναζητούν το μοναδικό ξέσπασμα του distortion της Orange σε ένα φορητό μέγεθος. Με την ίδια επιλογή των 15 ή των 7 Watts στην έξοδο όπως και στον Tiny Terror, συν την προσθήκη του valve buffered effects loop, το τελικό αυτό αποτέλεσμα του ενισχυτή έρχεται να συμπληρώσει ακόμα η προενίσχυση λυχνίας και το ποτενσιόμετρο του shape control που διαθέτει.

Το  shape control το οποίο εμφανίστηκε για πρώτη φορά στη σειρά Thunderverb, διαμορφώνει τον ήχο σε μια πιο σύγχρονη και μοντέρνα υφή, στρέφοντας το ποτενσιόμετρο δεξιόστροφα. Ενώ στρέφοντάς το προς την αντίθετη κατεύθυνση (αριστερόστροφα) πηγαίνει τον ήχο σε μια πιο κλασική vintage αισθητική, με ενισχυμένες μεσαίες και πιο ζεστές υψηλές συχνότητες. Αυτό κάνει τον ενισχυτή πολύ πιο ευέλικτο στα διάφορα είδη της μουσικής. Καθώς αυξάνεται το Gain control της προενίσχυσης που διαθέτει, ο ήχος γίνεται όλο και πιο "επιθετικός“, φθάνοντας πραγματικά σε υψηλά επίπεδα.

Ζυγίζοντας λιγότερο από ένα κιλό, η Micro Terror είναι αναμφισβήτητα η πιο μικρή και φορητή κεφαλή στην αγορά. Όταν συνδυάζεται με την καμπίνα PPC108, μαζί με την aux είσοδο και την έξοδο ακουστικών που διαθέτει, την καθιστά ένα τέλειο ηχητικό αποτέλεσμα εξάσκησης και μελέτης. Ικανό, λόγω μεγέθους, να χωρέσει οπουδήποτε! Ωστόσο δεν πρέπει να θεωρηθεί ότι λόγω των παραχωρήσεων στον όγκο του, έχουν γίνει παραχωρήσεις και στην ποιότητα του. Το μόνο μικρό είναι το μέγεθος της κεφαλής και τίποτα άλλο.

Με ένα χαλύβδινο περίβλημα υψηλής αντοχής, η Micro Terror είναι κατασκευασμένη με τα ίδια υψηλά πρότυπα όπως και τα υπόλοιπο μοντέλα της οικογένειας Terror. Διαθέτει μια λυχνία 12AX7 / ECC81 στην προενίσχυση έτσι ώστε το βάθος του ήχου και ο όγκος του, να το κάνει πραγματικά συγκλονιστικό. Έτοιμη να αντεπεξέλθει σε συνθήκες εντάσεως και ποιότητας που η εικόνα της την αμφισβητεί! Μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί με οποιοδήποτε ηχείο 8-16 Ohm.
