PALMER PEDMS MI DMS – Dynamic Mic Switcher

With the Palmer DMS (Dynamic Mic Switcher) you can switch a dynamic microphone between two inputs.

The Palmer DMS Switcher is a passive unit and is exclusively for dynamic microphones. The switch on the DMS is momentary.

• Switch your vocal mic between the FOH mixer and the monitor mixer - this will allow you to talk exclusively to the band or the monitor mixing engineer.
• Sound variation. Send the two outputs of the DMS to two channels of the FOH mixer, adjust the channels differently (for example, adjust the EQ to get a telephone effect). This will allow you to switch between two microphone sounds on stage at your own leisure.
• You can use the DMS to switch the microphone between two different rooms/zones

The Palmer TINO SYSTEM - The clever solution for switching two amps to 1 cabinet

Ambitious guitarists often use two amplifiers in order to obtain different basic sounds. However, transport, space restrictions and the decrease in output associated with PA speakers can be very inconvenient. This is where TINO SYSTEM promises to help. The switcher system allows you to use two amplifiers with only one box as an alternative. Regardless of whether you use tube amplifiers that require getting a load, or transistor models. Even a mixed combination is possible without any problems.

The switch-over between the amplifiers can be operated via a pressure switch on the device or via an optional standard foot switch or switching system. If the switch cannot be done with a switching system, a standard foot switch can be connected to the corresponding 6.3 mm jack. (Requires a switch, not push-buttons!)

TINO SYSTEM routes the guitar signal to the chosen amplifier, while the second unused amplifier is turned off to prevent unwanted interference. (As if the potentiometer on the guitar was switched off). The gain from the instrument input to output is one (Unity Gain). The built-in buffer only converts the impedance, so that a high-impedance guitar becomes less prone to interference. When the guitar signal is switched, the speaker is switched simultaneously, while the speaker output from the mute amplifier is connected to a load (Dummy Load). Therefore, tube amplifiers are absolutely safe from dangerous idling.

If you connect two amplifiers with one another, a heavy buzzing sound often overlays the guitar signal. This undesirable effect is known as ground loop and occurs between mains-operated devices because of double grounding. The TWO IN ONE prevents this from happening by decoupling the outputs to the amplifiers using high-quality isolating repeaters. A sliding switch-over between the amplifiers also ensures that the process occurs click-free and without interruption. The power supply is provided via the supplied 9V power adapter.

The Palmer PEABO is a balanced switcher with one input and two outputs. This makes it the perfect choice for routing a signal to one of two different inputs.

• Onstage, switch your vocal mike between FOH and monitor mixing desk so you can communicate with the monitor mixer or the band in private.
• Two different sound configurations. Suppose you sometimes want a different effect or sound on your microphone, for example, a "telephone effect" or more Hall. Run both outputs of the PEABO to two channels of the mixing desk - now you can configure these differently and toggle between the two channels onstage whenever you want.
• You can also use the PEABO to address two different rooms or zones selectively.

Switching is controlled by a sturdy latching foot switch; the selected output is indicated by a red LED. Slide switches make it possible to select various attenuation levels (6, 15 or 21 dB attenuation) individually for both outputs. A ground lift helps to avoid ground loop hum.

Housed in a solid metal case with extended edges for optimum protection of the in- and outputs. Pre-drilled holes permit simple and secure mounting in a rack or on a pedal board.

The PEABO's strictly passive circuitry means that it requires no power supply at all. A 9-volt block battery is only required to power the LED.
