The Split-Lid -Butterfly from Adam Hall makes building flight cases with split lids or hoods really easy. For one, the number of required butterflies can in many cases be reduced from four to two; also, the elaborate lid location transition is eliminated at the corners. Last but not least, there are also handling benefits, since fewer closures need to be operated.
