The Phase Checker allows fast testing of the polarity of acoustic transducers,
microphones and electronic devices. Sophisticated signal processing allows
fast and accurate determination of the absolute polarity unimpaired by passive
crossovers or signal waveform distortions produced by the device under test.

The test system consists of two units: the Signal Generator and the detector.

To check acoustical or electrical phasing, the Generator is connected to the input
of the device under test whereas the detector picks up the output signal. Subsequent
signal processing enables the detector to decide whether the device under test
reverses signal phase or not. The result of the test procedure is displayed via two
LEDS, the green one indicating the “in phase” and the red one indicating the “out
of phase” condition.

Due to the versatile Input/Output structure of both the Generator and the detector
any combination of acoustical and electrical input and output may be realized.

Cable Tester ACT-100

The Alphaton active remote cable tester can be used for testing either normal short
cables or long ones, especially mufticores, wkh connectors not being accessible at
one time. The tester is especially suded for fixed installations where cables can not
be tested with a standard type cable tester or Ohm meter. Either symmetric and
unsymmetric cables can be tested.
“Cold" solderings and junction resistances are displayed by color or luminosity changes
in three color LED Display. The imprinted fault table incorporates alt important fault
conditions, indeed not all possible ones due to their reiatively large number. In case the
display is in a state which cannot be found on the imprinted table, it can be looked up in
the user's manual. In any case, however, the cabie is in aquite unusable state and should
be repaired or replaced. The Alphaton cable tester has a SEND and a REMOTE section.
The REMOTE sectionconsistsof two recessed mounted XLR type male or female connector
and a stereo phone jack at the right hand side of the tester. Additionally, a separate REMOTE
plug is delivered togetherwith the active remote cable tester for testing long cables in fixed
installations.

pdfUser's Manual   A stage is only as good as its cables — and the AHMCT 8 sets the record straight. The AHMCT 8 tests the most critical cables on the stage itself and flags up whether they are functioning or not, both visibly via LEDs and audibly via a buzzer. This makes it the perfect tool for engineers — both in the workshop and on stage. The Pro AHMCT is operated simply, intuitively and safely via a single rotary switch on the device. The sturdy metal housing withstands even tough on-stage demands. The standard kit comes with two test probes for carrying out fast and simple continuity tests on various cables or installations.
