PowerMIX I - Four Channel Personal Mono Mixer Overview
There are occasions when a number of mono sources or a stereo source and/or instruments need to be mixed down into a mono signal. This might be a matter of inserting one or two keyboards plus a stereo tape or CD track into one mixer channel for PA or recording purposes or simply into an instrument amp or powered speaker. There can also be the need to mix the line outputs of two or more instrument amps into one mixer channel. Up to 4 high impedance mics can be mixed this way. (ie: Karaoke applications.) High impedance mics and electric instruments can be mixed this way for small band rehersals. Two high-impedance mics and a stereo CD or tape can be mixed down. And if the mixer is passive, no AC power source is required.

Rane Commercial SM 26S Overview
The Rane SM26S is a unique, dual purpose mixer capable of mixing audio signals and distributing audio via any of the 6 outputs. There are 6 balanced mono inputs and outputs complete with gain and pan control. Pan controls place the channel's signal into the stereo field. As a splitter, the Pan controls assign which output channels distribute incoming signal. There is a separate Left and Right stereo input for incoming signals when using the SM26S as a splitter mixer. Also featured are stereo (Left/Right)"Expand" Output for cascading multiple SM26S. There is no maximum limit as to how many SM26S can be linked.
The Rane SM26S is capable of mixing and distributing signals out of 6 mono outputs. There are 6 mono inputs and 6 mono outputs, 2 sets of stereo (L/R) outputs and a set of stereo (L/R) inputs. Both a mixer and audio distributer, the Rane SM26S is flexible and versatile enough for any sound reinforcement application.
The SM26S features balanced 1/4" TRS phone inputs and outputs for maximum gain and lower noise floor.
PAN pots are featured on channels 1-6 and control stereo placement of audio when the SM26S mono inputs are in use. As a splitter, the PAN control may be used to assign which outputs distribute the incoming stereo signal.
The external power supply is effective in reducing noise created by "dirty" AC power and bad grounds.

Impressive Splitting and Signal-routing Capabilities
Are your attempts to get your signals to multiple places giving you a headache? The Behringer MX882 V2 splitter/mixer makes it easy. This splitter, line mixer, or level conditioner will let you send and receive signals any way you want. Each channel can operate independently in either splitter or mixer mode. Live sound engineers at Sweetwater also appreciate the ability to use the MX882 V2 as a 6-in/6-out level-matching amplifier or DI box too. When it comes to splitting and mixing signals, the Behringer MX882 V2 makes it simple.
Behringer MX882 V2 Mixer/Splitter Features:
- 8-channel splitter/mixer
- Wide frequency range for maximum signal integrity
- Also serves as a 6-in/6-out level-matching amplifier or DI
- Converts signal levels between -10dBV and +4dBu
- 6 mono inputs, 6 mono outputs, 2 main inputs, and 2 main outputs
- Input/output level meters for all channels
| Behringer Micromix MX-400 Ultra Low-Noise 4-Channel Line Mixer
Despite its ultra-compact size, this 4-channel line mixer is big on features! It yields the highest sonic quality at all output levels, boasting ultra low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers for outstanding audio performance?the same op amps found in its much bigger brethren. Expanding on the capabilities of standard-size mixers is where the MX400 does extremely well, for example as a sub-mixer. If you are running short on available channels on your ?big? mixer and need to bring the output of three different keyboards into your mix, you can simply connect them to the MX400, work out the keyboard mix, and connect the MX400?s output to a single input on your main mixer.
It will catch your eye because it?s cute as a button, but you?ll want to own one because of what it can do for your performance.
- Compact 4-channel line mixer
