Description

BD7907FS is a 6-channel driver IC that integrates all
drivers necessary for CD-ROM, and DVD-ROM systems
into a single chip.  The built-in 2-channel sled motor
driver is used for the stepping motor.  Low heat operation
can be achieved by applying the PWM driving system for
sled and spindle motor drivers.

  • Description

     

    The DRV134 and DRV135 are differential output amplifiers that convert a single-ended input to a balanced output pair. These balanced audio drivers consist of high performance op amps with on-chip precision resistors. They are fully specified for high performance audio applications and have excellent ac specifications, including low distortion (0.0005% at 1 kHz) and high slew rate (15 V/µs).

    The on-chip resistors are laser-trimmed for accurate gain and optimum output common-mode rejection. Wide output voltage swing and high output drive capability allow use in a wide variety of demanding applications. They easily drive the large capacitive loads associated with long audio cables. Used in combination with the INA134 or INA137 differential receivers, they offer a complete solution for transmitting analog audio signals without degradation.

    The DRV134 is available in 8-pin DIP and SOL-16 surface-mount packages. The DRV135 comes in a space-saving SO-8 surface-mount package. Both are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range, –40°C to +85°C and operate from –55°C to +125°C

FULL-BRIDGE PWM MOTOR DRIVER

The L6219 is a bipolar monolithic integrated circuits intended to control and drive both winding of a bipolar stepper motor or bidirectionally control two DC motors.

The L6219 with a few external components form a complete control and drive circuit for LS-TTL or microprocessor controlled stepper motor system. The power stage is a dual full bridge capable of sustaining 46V and including four diodes for current recirculation.

A cross conduction protection is provided to avoid simultaneous cross conduction during switching current direction.

An internal pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controls the output current to 750 mA with peak startup current up to 1 A.

Wide range of current control from 750 mA (each bridge) is permitted by means of two logic inputs and an external voltage reference. A phase input to each bridge determines the load current direction. A thermal protection circuitry disables the outputs if the chip temperature exceeds safe operating limits.
