Lead vocal with mid-range presence; excellent for rock, metal and loud volumes.
Designed, machined, assembled and tested by Audix in the USA, the OM11 was first issued in 1985 as the OM1. This mic is a dynamic vocal microphone used for a wide variety of live, studio and broadcast applications. Its sharp, crisp vocal sound, resistance to feedback and ability to handle high SPLs without distortion are trademarks of the OM11.
The OM11 is designed with a tight, uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern which helps isolate the vocals on stage. The response of the OM11 is tailored to cut through the mix, providing extra presence and articulation to the vocals even at very high stage volumes. In addition to having extremely low handling noise, the OM11 is well balanced, comfortable to hold and durable.

In the tradition of the SM58?, the Beta 58A dynamic microphone has become a top choice among vocalists and touring sound professionals.
The Shure Beta 58A is a high-output supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone designed for professional sound reinforcement and project studio recording. It maintains a true supercardioid pattern throughout its frequency range. This insures high gain-before-feedback, maximum isolation from other sound sources, and minimum off-axis tone coloration. The Beta 58A has a shaped frequency response that is ideal for close-up vocals. The superb performance of this microphone is not affected by rough handling because of its rugged construction, proven shock mount system, and hardened steel mesh grille. Typical applications for the Beta 58A include lead vocals, backup vocals and speech.

| The Beta 87A has consistently been a top choice of performers and audio technicians around the world due to its superb accuracy and detail, and rich vocal production. This long-standing favorite now incorporates a cardioid polar pattern and has been named the Beta 87C TM.
Developed in response to professional demands associated with the use of personal monitoring devices like the Shure PSM ? Series, Shure's new Beta 87C premium vocal microphone delivers studio-grade performance and a smooth, extended high-end frequency response in a cardioid condenser design.
The uniform cardioid polar pattern of the Beta 87C enables users to effectively reject ambient noise arriving at the rear of the microphone, an attribute that will be especially appealing to users of personal monitors and others who frequently experience undesirable sounds bleeding into their mixes.
Other features include:
- Smooth, wide frequency response with slight presence rise
- Uniform cardioid polar pattern for maximum isolation
- Minimal off-axis tone coloration
- Low-frequency roll-off compensates for proximity effect
- Three-stage pop filter minimizes breath pop and noise
- Break-resistant stand adapter
- Frequency response: 50 to 20,000 Hz
