Content | Tests XLR, 1/4 in., 1/8 in., TT, RCA and MIDI connectors.
The intelligent, CPU-controlled CT100 accepts virtually any connector type:
XLR, mono and TRS phone (1/4 in., 1/8 in., TT), RCA and MIDI. It shows
which input pin is connected to which output pin. Separate LEDs indicate
proper shield connection and phantom power presence. The CT100 also
offers an installed cable test mode and a continuity check plus a test tone
generator.
Features
3 modes: cable test mode, installed cable test mode, and test tone mode
Accepts XLR, mono and stereo TRS phone (1/4 in., 1/8 in., TT),
RCA and MIDI Connectors
Continuity check
Intermittent detect
Phantom power detect
Grounded shield detect
Test tone generation (1 kHz and 440 Hz)
Battery operation (requires 2 AA alkaline batteries) | This is an on-the-road tool you certainly can't miss in your gearbox! A nifty, handy cabletester, which allows you to check up to six (welding) connections and gives you a visual readout by 2 rows of 6 LED's. The checking itself is done manually per connected pin. A LED will light up to indicate what pin is connected correctly on which side. A short-circuit check with a red LED and audio-warningsignal is also included. On the left and right side you'll find inputs for 6,3 symm. jack, BNC, RCA, 5p. DIN, 5p. XLR, 3p. XLR and Neutrik® Speakon®.
We all know how frustrating and time consuming it can be when your audio cables fail. With the dbx CT2 cable testing unit you can now evaluate a large variety of your cables with ease. The CT2 offers many common connectors such as Speaker Twist, XLR, Phono, BNC, DIN, TRS, TS, DMX, & Banana. The CT2 allows for testing cables even with different connectors at each end. For example, it is simple to test a TRS to XLR cable. With well illuminated LED indicators and a simple rotary dial, users can quickly establish whether a cable is wired and functioning correctly, or if it is dead and in need of repair.

| With the PAN05, two microphone signals can be mixed down to one. Since decoupling occurs via the balanced resistor network, the PAN05 also lets phantom power "pass through“, useful for condenser microphones. However, due to the difference in sound and signal level, mixing dynamic and condenser mics should be avoided. Best results will be achieved using two identical mics.
