The Shure SM58S Vocal Microphone features a cardioid dynamic vocal design well suited for professional vocal use in live performances, sound reinforcement, and studio recording. A built-in spherical filter minimizes wind and breath "pop" noise, while the cardioid pickup pattern isolates the main sound source while minimizing unwanted background noise. The microphone offers durable construction, a high-quality internal shockmount system, and a steel mesh grille for withstanding rough handling. The SM58S is designed to perform consistently both outdoors and indoors and when used for singing or speech applications. The microphone features an integrated on/off switch and includes a microphone clip and a zippered pouch.

The Beta 87 microphone has consistently been a top choice of performers and audio technicians around the world due to its superb accuracy and detail, and rich vocal production. This long-standing favorite now features a new design and has been renamed the Beta 87A TM. In response to user requests, Shure has redesigned this microphone by just slightly thickening the handle for a more comfortable feel when hand-held. In addition, the Beta 87A now includes the A25D break-resistant swivel adapter. The Shure Model Beta 87A is a premium quality supercardioid hand-held electret condenser vocal microphone with exceptionally smooth frequency response and high sound pressure level (SPL) capability. Used for professional sound reinforcement, broadcasting, and studio recording applications, the Beta 87A combines superb performance with the ruggedness needed for touring and field production. The Beta 87A features a controlled low-frequency roll-off that compensates for proximity effect and prevents the "boomy" sound often associated with close pick-up. The characteristic Shure presence rise brightens the upper midrange. The tight supercardioid pattern, with null points at approximately 125 degrees, provides maximum isolation from other vocalists or instruments while offering minimal off-axis coloration. The Beta 87A operates on phantom power.
  • Smooth, tailored frequency response provides detail, accuracy, and warmth for vocals
  • Extremely accurate supercardioid pattern at all frequencies provides the highest gain-before-feedback
  • Three-stage pop filter minimizes breath pop and noise
  • Break-resistant stand adapter
  • Frequency response: 50 to 20,000 Hz
Product Features: Dynamic vocal and instrument microphone with on/off switch for excellent studio and live performance Ultra-wide frequency response for brilliant and transparent sound Extremely high signal output lets your voice cut through Cardioid characteristic minimizes background noise and feedback Convenient on/off switch to mute during breaks Integrated spherical wind and pop noise filter Microphone stand adapter and impact-resistant carrying case included High-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction ensure long life Conceived and designed by BEHRINGER Germany
The Behringer XM1800S is a set of three dynamic microphones and a hard case, perfect for starting your recording or live setup. Dynamic microphones are an essential for live performance and recording. Thanks to Behringer's XM1800S Ultravoice Dynamic Microphone, 3 Pack, you'll have a set of versatile microphones which serve to provide you with excellent, high quality, results, night after night. Their super-cardioid polar pattern design ensures a tight and focused sound, with minimal bleed from off-axis sources. This is especially useful for ensuring vocals cut through dense mixes or if the vocalist plays an instrument simultaneously. The bundle includes a protected, padded, hard-case, built to withstand the hardships of continued use and touring. As well as this, there's three microphone stand adapters. Thanks to Behringer you'll be presented with a premium quality package, ideal for a wide range of applications.

The ideal choice for live sound

Dynamic microphones are designed to be robust, durable and resitant to damage, and moisture, and are able to withstand the most powerful of voices. The XM1800s' super-cardioid design provides you with a tight sound. This is ideal for a focused capture, whilst rejecting ambience from unwanted, off-axis sources. Because of the tight pick up pattern the XM1800S are an excellent choice to use on musicians who play an instrument whilst singing. Behringer make your job easier, ensuring that every voice is heard and resonates with the listener.

A great all round package

As well as the three dynamic XM1800S mics, the pack also includes an impact-resistant carry case, microphone clips and stand adapters. Behringer have included these accessories to provide the key essentials you'll need for transporting and setting up your microphones. The impact-resistant carry case is designed to offer added durability and a safe way of transporting your microphones, minimising any damage.

The first Neumann microphone with a dynamic capsule. Functionally optimized design
specifically for the broadcast field, featuring integrated pop protection, suppression of
structure-borne noise and a hypercardioid directional characteristic.
Emotion conveyed with technical perfection. This is the ideal which the Neumann
microphones in the Broadcast Line have been designed to fulfill. The fine-tuning to the
requirements of professional broadcast studios and the individual, functionally optimized
design* ensure that these are microphones of character.
The BCM 705 is Neumann?s first dynamic microphone. The housing and headgrille are
identical to those of the BCM 104; only the green logo indicates that this is something new
from Neumann. The principle of reduction to the essentials can be seen in the dynamic
capsule with a hypercardioid directional characteristic, specifically designed for speech
reproduction at close range. Multi-level isolation from structure-borne noise ensures operation
free of interference, even in a lively studio environment.
Mechanical Features
The microphone headgrille twists off easily for quick cleaning. Neumann offers optional,
color-coded headgrilles so that, for reasons of hygiene, each announcer can use his or her
individual headgrille. Iin front of the capsule, mounted on a frame holder, a fine gauze serves
as a built-in popscreen.
The microphones of the Broadcast Line have an elastic mount against structure-borne noise,
that is compatible with standard broadcast-segment microphone arms.
Acoustic features
The frequency response has a light treble boost, in the region from 2 kHz to 9 kHz, aiding the
speech intelligibility. The bass frequency response is designed to compensate for the overemphasis
of the bass caused by the proximity effect.
The integrated Pop Screen
A pop screen not only prevents the occurrence of plosive pop noises in vocal recordings, but also
efficiently prevents unwanted particles, from respiratory moisture, nicotine, to food remnants, from
settling on the diaphragm. The pop screen can be removed for cleaning without the use of tools.
Mounting
The preferred mode of operation is to suspend the BCM 104 or BCM 705 from a standard studio
boom arm.
A thread adapter to fit different connector threads is included. In order to provide protection from
structure-borne noise, both the capsule and the microphone in its mount are elastically suspended.

The optional SG 5 swivel mount allows additional angling of the microphone by +/-90 degrees.

FEATURES:
Dynamic capsule
Hypercardioid directional characteristic
Characteristic, functionally optimized design*
Integrated, neutral pop protection
Integrated elastic suspension
Individual headgrilles for different users
Colored rings to identify the replacement headgrilles
Easy removal and cleaning of microphone headgrille (with bayonet mount)
Mechanical compatibility with standard studio boom arms
Multi-level isolation from structure-borne noise
No power supply required

APPLICATION HINTS:

This is just one of the most common applications. We recommend
additional experimentation to gain maximum use from this microphone.
