K2 - ?It cant be done?? Precision Variable Pattern Dual 1? Condenser Valve Microphone.

The R?DE K2 is the result of designing and building 1000?s of valve microphones. The
K2?s HF-1 capsule is the pinnacle of transducer technology. The sound quality combines
modern high-end specifications with the character and subtleties of the legendary 50?s mics.
Infinitely variable control of the K2?s polar patterns provides the freedom and flexibility to
excel in any recording situation. The K2 is another example of R?DE?s commitment to
building quality studio microphones to meet the exacting standards demanded by today?s
professionals. At the 2004 Frankfurt Music Messa, 56 of the most prestgious music industry
magazines voted the K2 the ?Best Studio Microphone of 2004?.

Behringer C-2 2 Matched Studio Condenser Microphones 2 Matched Studio Condenser Microphones
  • 2 matched condenser microphones for stereo studio recording and live applications
  • Ideal as main and support microphones for studio and live applications
  • Cardioid pickup pattern for effective feedback elimination
  • Low-mass diaphragm for ultra-wide frequency response and ultimate sound reproduction
  • Switchable low-frequency roll-off and input attenuation
  • Ultra low-noise transformerless FET input eliminates low-frequency distortion
Excellent Source Isolation Our C-2 mics also feature a low-frequency rolloff switch to eliminate infrasonics (mic handling noise, sound created by creaky stages), as well as a switchable -10 dB input pad to accommodate hot signals, such as a really loud vocalist or overzealous cellist. The cardioid pickup pattern provides unparalleled sound source separation and feedback rejection. C-2 mics contain ultra low-noise transformerless FET input circuitry that can handle extreme dynamics with a maximum sound pressure level of 136 dB. So even if the featured performer at your next recording session or live show happens to be a revved-up jet engine, this workhorse mic will not distort! Sound That Astounds Every stitch of these mics is designed to deliver beautiful sound. Beginning with the gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector, you get the highest signal integrity. Once connected to your system, youʼll notice these twin pro-caliber microphones have a 4 dB boost in the 1 kHz - 8 kHz range. For those of you new to condenser mics, this basically means youʼll get a slightly brighter sound that will give the perfect shape to cymbals and overhead miking. Acoustic pianos and choirs also benefit greatly from this type of frequency response. Excellent Source Isolation The cardioid pickup pattern provides unparalleled sound source separation and feedback rejection. AKG C214 – large 1” diaphragm microphone with cardioid polar pattern, frequency response: 20Hz-20kHz, 20dB pad, requires phantom power (12-52V), XLR connector. Includes clip, case and windshield. Dimensions: 160 x 55mm. Weight: 280g, optional microphone holder SA61 The C214 professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone has been designed as a cost-effective alternative to the high-end C414 family. Like the C414, the C214 offers a supreme one-inch capsule on an integrated suspension to reduce mechanical noise. A switchable 20dB attenuation pad allows recording of loud sources of up to 156dB SPL. A switchable bass-cut filter allows close-up recording with almost no proximity effect. The C214 captures sound by combining one capsule of the legendary C414 dual-capsule system and the patented AKG Back-Plate Technology, resulting in an outstanding performance close to the famous C414 XLII. Sonic character of the C414 XLII for beautifully detailed recording of lead vocals and solo instruments Outstanding dynamic range and ultralow noise for close-up recording of high-output sources of up to 156dB SPL Switchable 20dB attenuator and bass-cut filter for close-up recording and reduction of proximity effect Integrated suspension to reduce mechanical noise and vibration from stage Roadworthy design all-metal die-cast body with shock- and scratch-resistant finish
