The AR-416 is an active 4-channel direct injection unit.
Each channel includes:
High impedance of 1M Ohm.
* A ?” instrument jack per channel with both parallel and buffered link outputs on ?” jacks to feed into backline amps. * A low impedance XLR output which is active buffered, transformer-balanced, floating and capable of driving 600 Ohm over long cable runs. * A selectable 8kHz low-pass filter; polarity-reverse and earth-lift on “XLR side“. * 3-way selectable input attenuation (0dB, 20dB, 40dB pad). * An additional earth lift on the “jack side“.
The earth lifts on each channel have LED indicators to show true status and avoid confusion. The unit has total ground isolation with no significant crosstalk between channels and a very low noise floor. The unit is mains powered.

And between the combined shielding of the cast metal chassis and the custom-wound transformer, you can be doubly assured of a clean signal free from interference. All of this sits atop a solid, stable footprint, that will keep the box from being dragged around the stage, and the unique contoured underside allows secure stacking of multiple units.

Be Direct
Plug into the DI100's balanced 1/4" TRS or XLR input, then send a signal to your console via the balanced XLR output. You can even plug your guitar or bass amp's speaker output into the DI100, which can handle ratings of up to 3,000 Watts and still deliver a perfect signal. It also features a 1/4" LINK jack to send your signal to an on-stage amplifier. The DI100 also has a switchable attenuation pad, allowing input levels of up to +50 dB. The Stewart ADB-1 is a single channel active direct box that allows an unbalanced source to directly feed a balanced input. Musical instruments, tape recorders, VCRs and sound projectors can be run "direct" to the mixing console, avoiding unnecessary degradation of sound quality.
