The LK-S450 features 61 full-size keys with touch sensitivity that adds rich expression to each note you play. It employs the company's AiX Sound Source technology to accurately reproduces every nuance of more than 600 high-quality acoustic and synthesized instrument sounds including electric pianos, organs, strings, synths, drum kits—and of course a Concert Grand piano. There are 200 auto-accompaniment styles with a backing band that can play a variety of musical genres from around the world, such as pop, jazz, R&B, rock, dance, Latin, and world music to name a few. Jam with the band and use the 6-track song recorder to record your performances, and play them back later.
The built-in speakers are great for sharing your music with friends. Plug in headphones for quiet play at any time. The 3.5mm aux input enables you to connect your phone/tablet or music player and play along with your favorite songs, while the 1/4" microphone input (with gain control) lets you connect a mic for singing along.
USB MIDI enables the keyboard to control other instruments or allows you to connect it to your computer. Plus, you can download the free Chordana App on your iOS or Android smartphone/tablet to learn any MIDI file while viewing traditional notation, a special visual piano display, or both. A separate USB-A port is available for the optional WU-BT10 Bluetooth MIDI/audio adapter, which enables you to connect wirelessly to other devices and control them via MIDI, or so you can use the LK-S450 as a Bluetooth speaker. This port can also be used to connect an external flash drive.
A tablet-ready music rest and an AC adapter are included, but the keyboard can also run on six AA batteries (available separately) and hang on a strap for truly mobile operation.
- Perfect for any level, the LK-S450 is your own personal teacher with its Key Lighting System guiding you through each piece by illuminating the keys in sequence. Play along to any of the 160 built-in songs with ease. Slow the tempo to help you practice or learn melodies individually by selecting left-hand or right-hand parts only. The LK-S450 will act as your other hand.
- The LK-S450's 200 full-accompaniment Rhythms make it a perfect jamming partner. Simply play a few notes, and it will create an entire backing band that reacts effortlessly to the way you play—with vibrant acoustic drums, vintage drum machines, global percussion instruments, rock-solid basslines, horn ensembles, rhythm guitars, and so much more. | The EK-50 is equipped with automatic accompaniment functionality called "Styles,”which allow you to automatically produce a rich accompaniment with just one finger on the left hand, or by playing chords. Since this accompaniment changes according to the keyboard position or the chord that you play, you can easily improvise by playing the melody with your right hand. It’s like leading a band that knows hundreds of songs with the touch of a finger.
EK-50’s onboard Styles cover more than 280 musical genres from around the world, each with four variations ranging from simple to complex, as well as an intro and ending for the beginning and end of the song. You can add variety to your performance by switching these buttons in time with the rhythm.
There’s also an "STS” (Single Touch Select) function that automatically selects recommended when you switch Styles. It’s a perfect pairing of sound and Style, all set up and ready to go, so that you can focus on learning, creating or performing.
The EK-50 contains more than 702 realistic sounds including pianos, violin, sax, and drums. You select and play the sound you need, whether you’re playing a solo performance or are playing in a band. You can also use the Split function to divide the keyboard and play different sounds simultaneously - such as piano with the right hand and bass with the left. This creates additional enjoyment with different combinations of sound.
The middle of the operating panel has a bright, clear display that shows the currently selected sound and Style names in large characters for great visibility. The principal switches are illuminated by their own LEDs which helps you visualize the setting of each function. There’s also a "Grand Piano button” which brings you right back to the starting grand piano sound at any time, regardless of the currently selected sound.
Powerful 10W x 10W stereo speakers are built into the instrument. They can reproduce not only the sound of the instrument itself, but also sound from an external device that you connect to the input jack. Additionally, a music rest and AC adaptor are included, so you’re completely ready to go right out of the box. The EK-50 also works with AA batteries (sold separately), so you can play on the go!
The EK-50 contains 64 "Music Styles” that preset the Style, sound and tempo suitablefor the songs that you’re familiar with. Simply selecting a Music Style and playing is an easy way to improvise or create ideas for original songs.
Got a great new song idea? You can record your performances on the EK-50 and save them as well. Song mode lets you play back your own original creations, internal demo songs, MP3 or WAV audio data and SMF (Standard MIDI File) data saved on any commercially-available USB flash drive. You’ll also be able to play sounds while these songs play back.
The EK-50 is open-ended, which allows you to add up to 96 styles via a USB flash drive. We expect to add new data to the KORG website in the future and will keep you informed.

Oriental Scales / Scale Setting Button
The PSR-A2000 comes equipped with six of the worldʼs most well-known scales as presets, ensuring that you can perform almost any genre of music straight away. Yamaha's Oriental Scales feature takes this flexibility even further, allowing you to raise or lower the pitch of specific notes to create your own scales.
