Powerful theatre control for generic and moving lights, with a fast, easy to use interface.
For too long the creativity of lighting professionals has been stifled by the limitations and excessive cost of high end lighting control. The Illusion has been designed to challenge this status quo. Using leading edge technology, exceptional graphics and user definable modes of operation, the Illusion performs as a fast, effective lighting tool.
The addition of moving light control software to the Illusion makes it an exceptionally powerful controller with many features previously only found in more expensive consoles. The only limit on the number of moving lights available is the 512 DMX channels available. Three high resolution encoders allow for easy control of the moving light parameters. To facilitate ease of programming the Illusion makes use of palettes or focus groups for each type of LTP parameter. Building memories using palettes will ensure that changes to any palette are tracked through to the associated memories. Separate fade times can be set for parameters and for brightness channels allowing for exceptional flexibility in replaying shows. To further facilitate programming the Illusion has a powerful effects engine that allows for the creation of not only movement effects but also colour and beam effects. The comprehensive library of fixtures available ensures that the user can program any moving light. Fixture libraries are updated on a regular basis or it is possible to create your own unique fixture personalities using a free software tool. Programming moving lights is simple whether using the mouse and screen commands or using command line syntax. With powerful editing tools the desk allows users to track changes to memories forward and backwards or to change a single cue.
With 500 channels as standard, the Illusion features the phenomenally powerful Cueline system, which gives instant and clear graphical representation of the cue list allowing easy visualisation, operation and editing. The graphical user interface and memory stack are fully integrated. Modifications in the memory stack automatically update the Cueline system and vice versa. Using Cueline it is possible to create multipart cues that alter different parameters making the playback of moving lights intuitive and simple.Clear front panel controls can be configured to suit your preferred style of operation, with a choice of command line operation or full GUI. Powerful shortcuts, associations and macros can be set up to aid the programming operation whilst flexible linking and triggering operations make the replay of complex lighting sequences extremely simple. Multi-part cues, linked submasters, follow-ons, audio effects, channel groups and full LTP channel control can all be achieved without the need to search through endless menus or remember confusing key sequences.

High specification control for mixed lighting systems
The Bull Frog is the largest of the Frog family of control desks. The Bull Frog offers features including attribute palettes, group selection and a monitor output. As a Zero 88 product, the Bull Frog desk naturally retains the same ease of use, reliability and affordability as the rest of the Frog Family. The BullFrog can control up to 96 generic channels, which may be manually or automatically patched to any of the 1024 DMX channels, there is also capability for control of up to 24 intelligent fixtures. The desk is fitted with a floppy drive for loading and saving show data, a remote ?Go? port and a monitor port. Memories can be recorded as scenes or chases, each having its own fade times and modifiers. Memories may be played back with the crossfade master and the ?Go? button for sequential, pre-programmed shows. Extra flexibility is afforded through the 480 submasters allowing for the creation of lighting effects for the more spontaneous shows. The Bull Frog also offers the user four palette types: group, colour, beam and position. There are 48 palettes available for each type. Palettes can be used to build memories or submasters. The desk palettes can be used to aid fast and accurate programming of memories, submasters and chases. Palettes can also be used during the running of the show to make instant and spontaneous changes to the programmed memories. Changing the contents of a Palette will automatically and instantly update all associated memories and submasters.Using a simple selection method, the BullFrog allows the user to record memories that include all fixtures in each memory or user selected fixtures only. Don?t be fooled by its simplicity and ease of use; the BullFrog offers a host of powerful features, making it a formidable tool for creating shows. Its versatility makes it ideal for all entertainment lighting applications allowing even relatively inexperienced operators to create exciting shows. The movement effects engine allows for simple and rapid programming of commonly used effects, whilst the inbuilt fixture library enables simple selection and manipulation of the moving lights.
