The Electro-Voice CPS-2T amplifier is a very high-quality power amplifier
designed to elicit excellent performance from any speaker system as well
as 70.7V and 100V lines. Its low distortion and substantial headroom
ensure that program material will be accurately amplified. Each channel of
the CPS-2T delivers more than 330-watts continuous average power into 8
ohms and 600 watts into 4 ohms. In its transformer-isolated dual mode, it
can deliver more than 580 watts into 70.7 or 100-volt lines. In the bridged mode
at 1 kHz, the amplifier can deliver more than 1,200 watts into 8 ohms at less
than 1% THD. Both direct and transformer-isolated outputs may be used simultaneously.
The power supply with its large toroidal transformer gives the amplifier impressive
headroom and current-output.

This professional stereo power amplifier, working in class-H mode, provides 2x800W, at an efficiency of around 85%.
A passive transformer based power supply and hand selected components makes this power rating possible with exceptional audio quality and absolute reliability, even in the 2 Ohm mode. The output stage is fully protected against over-temperature, short circuit, RFI and equipped with soft start circuit and temperature-controlled fan cooling. The integral soft clip limiter protects against damage to the connected loudspeakers. The activity of a protective circuit, signal and limiter is shown for each channel by LEDʼs.

The new DEEP2 amp series features four class-H power amplifiers with toroidal core offering amplifying levels from 2 x 400 W till 2 x 810 W at 4 Ohm. During the development of this series we attached a great importance to the reliability and the durability of the amps in continuous operation, this is why we used exclusively high end and selected components for the construction of these products.
The DEEP2 series features a Clip Limiter as well as every common protection circuits. These amps are 2 Ohm and 4 Ohm (bridge) stable in continuous operation. On the rear panel you will find all the common In- and Outputs.
