Applications
This is the EWI MST-412 4 Channel, 3 way, transformer isolated XLR splitter. This is an ideal, rack-mountable splitter for many applications, including:
1) Splitting XLR signals for taking a recording directly off a house mix.
2) Sending mixed signals to multiple amp racks.
3) Splitting XLR signals between house and monitor mixers.
4) Multiple XLR feeds for broadcast.
The MST-412 has some nice features:
1) Durable construction and all is housed in a convenient 1U rack mount unit.
2) Balanced XLR inputs and outputs.
3) Ground lift switches on both of the Isolated Split Outputs.
4) Good quality transformers for the splits.
5) The Direct Outs will pass Phantom Power. The two isolated split outputs do not pass phantom power.
On the front side EACH of the 4 input channels are equipped with a direct output and one isolated output with the ground lift switch next to the isolated output.
On the back side is one more isolated output panel jack and a direct output jack for EACH of the 4 channels plus ground lift switches for each back isolated split. The rear Direct Out jack is in parallel with the front Direct Out jack.
Physical properties are: The width is standard 19” rackmount. The height is 1 U (1 ¾”). The depth is 4” behind the rack ears. There are 4 nice little rubber feet on the bottom to help keep if from sliding around on a slick surface, or marring up something you set it on. Weight is 2.95 lbs. This is a passive device, so no active power is required. The chassis is heavy gauge steel and the front mounting plate is 0.075” extruded aluminum (no plastic here). As well as being durable, the all-metal construction further helps to reduce induced EMI into the unit. The panel jacks are constructed with plastic bodies, and the FXLR input panel jacks are constructed with spiral spring contact points with no locking device other than the solid fit of the spiral spring contacts.

| The MX225 is designed for remote volume control of multiple amplifiers or powered speakers in a distributed audio system. Two stereo sources are available to each of five output zones. Each source input pair handles separate left and right balanced line level signals. Each output zone features independent level control from inputs 1 and 2, stereo/mono selector with mono indicator, LED level metering, and left and right balanced line level zone outputs. | The PRMMS8 is an ultra low noise 8-channel microphone splitter providing a direct output and a transformer isolated output for each balanced XLR input. For extra flexibility, four front panel switches enable channel linking which permits routing a single input signal to multiple outputs feeding FOH, monitor, recording and broadcast mixing consoles, or merging two input signals into a single output. For use with condenser microphones, the direct outputs serve as a path for phantom power. Each channel includes a ground lift switch to eliminate hum and interference caused by ground loops between electronic equipment connected to the PRMMS8.332.

About the DI6s It's a fact of audio life that a lot of equipment that has to be connected to professional audio systems isn't impedance or level compatible. Interfaces Unlimited Tape/cassette/DVD/CD decks, audio for video, drum machines, synthesizers, bass guitars, computers; at some stage all these need linking up to Balanced inputs, whether the application is Live sound, Studio or Broadcast. A Pro Audio Toolbox This unique and flexible audio toolbox allows Six independent unbalanced audio sources to easily and quietly interface with Balanced pro audio systems, either to individual channels or summed down to one Master output. But that's not all. By pressing a single switch on the rear panel the DI6s will change from being Direct Boxes and a Mixer to being a 6 way Splitter (line distribution amplifier). Now it will split an incoming signal to 6 individual outputs or zones. On the front panel, each channel has 2 IN/OUT jacks, a level control from infinity (off) through 0dB to +15dB gain, and a Clip indicator LED.The Master section has a Master volume control and status LEDs indicating whether the unit is in DI or Splitter mode. In addition, as on all ARX single rack unit equipment, each channel has a numbered marker panel ('scribble strip') you can write on for easy confirmation of channel assigns. Balanced Outputs On the rear, each channel has an XLR Balanced output, with associated Ground lift switch and status LED, to isolate the chassis and electronic grounds. The Master section has both Balanced XLR and Unbalanced Jack outputs. In addition there is a Balanced XLR input with a switch to put the unit in either DI or Splitter mode. Universal AC Power AC power range is a universal 100 to 120V or 220 to 240V AC, and is connected to the unit via a removable power lead and standard 3 pin IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage change switch. A passive dual channel line splitter that is mainly used to feed the left and right master outputs of a mixer into several inputs such as power amplifiers, recording machines etc. A specially designed audio frequency transformer maintains signal integrity and prevents ground loop hum.
