GENELEC ACTIVE LOUDSPEAKERS
Since its founding in 1978, the Finnish company Genelec has been known for its range of active monitor loudspeakers, featuring matched electronic-crossovers and individual amplifiers for each driver. Active Monitors 8020A
A bi-amplified, two-way speaker suitable for a variety of applications where high-quality sound is needed in a compact space, from near-field and project studio monitoring to surround-sound, high-end installations and multimedia systems. This, the smallest speaker in the Genelec range features features magnetic shielding, aluminium cabinet, active crossover and 2 x 20W amplifiers. The amplifier section features switches for treble tilt, bass roll-off and bass tilt, and has a male XLR input and a female XLR output. It can also be used to feed a subwoofer (7050B recommended) or a further chain of up to 6 x 8020A units in total, with the lead control affecting level of the whole chain. Front-panel mains indicator LED and volume control are neatly styled, with rear IEC power input. The speaker has three methods of mounting: 3 mounting points on the back of the monitor for attaching the supplied IsoPod desktop stand, which allows vertical and horizontal positioning and can be fixed to the optional floor stand using the optional stand plate, threaded holes on the back for Omnimount size 20.5 brackets or the supplied keyhole wall-mount adapter and a three eighths of an inch thread on the base for microphone-stand mounting. Accessories available are a floor stand (speaker vertical or horizontal using IsoPod), stand plate (necessary for use with floor stand) and soft carrying bag for one pair of 8020Aʼs.
8030A

The hard-wearing, aluminium cabinet houses an active crossover, 2 x 90W amplifiers with overload protection, a metal-dome HF driver and polymer bass-driver, both magnetically shielded, and front-panel mains indicator LED. The crossover includes adjustable sensitivity and calibrated "tilt” switches for bass and treble adjustment. XLR balanced input and IEC mains input. The speaker has three methods of mounting: 3 mounting points on the back of the monitor for attaching the supplied IsoPod desktop stand, which allows vertical and horizontal positioning and can be fixed to the optional floor stand using the optional stand plate, threaded holes on the back for Omnimount size 30.0 brackets and a M10 x 10mm thread for securing the unit to the base. Accessories available are a floor stand (speaker vertical or horizontal using IsoPod), stand plate (necessary for use with floor stand) and soft carrying bag for one pair of 8040Aʼs.
8050A

The hard-wearing, aluminium cabinet houses an active crossover, two amplifiers with overload and thermal protection, a metal-dome HF driver and polymer bass-driver, both magnetically shielded, and front-panel mains indicator LED. The crossover includes adjustable sensitivity and calibrated "tilt” switches for bass and treble adjustment. XLR balanced input and IEC mains input. The speaker has three methods of mounting: 3 mounting points on the back of the monitor for attaching the supplied IsoPod desktop stand, which allows vertical and horizontal positioning and can be fixed to the optional floor stand using the optional stand plate, threaded holes on the back for Omnimount size 60.0 brackets and a M10 x 10mm thread for securing the unit to the base. S2X
The S2X brings together the virtues of the ʽclassicalʼ 7” woofer and tweeter combination by using ADAM innovative technologies and top-class materials.
The HexaCone 7” woofer is driven by a sophisticated magnet system with a 2” voice coil creating a greater linear excursion. This produces more dynamics than one would assume in a monitor of such small proportions. As a result, in addition to the unsurpassed audio quality of the X-ART and A/B amplifier combination, this monitor surprises the listener with a very powerful, deep, but always tight and precise low end.

PRICE PER UNIT The smallest big sound ever... With the A3X, ADAM Audio present their smallest monitor to date, making it perfectly suited for all environments where space is limited but sound shouldnʼt be constricted. The A3X combines a tiny footprint with the much acclaimed ADAM sound quality by using the X-ART tweeter for the higher frequencies, a guarantee for crystal clear music reproduction. A 4.5” (basket) driver handles the lower registers. The diaphragm is made from carbon fiber, a material that is very light but very stiff and therefore capable of delivering colouring-free sound. Two built-in 25 Watt amplifiers powers each of the drivers directly. Stereolink A very handy and exclusive technology found in the two smaller AX monitors is the Stereolink. This is accomplished by a pair of additional RCA connections that allow for a bypass of the second stereo channel to the other speaker. This new technology connects two A3X speakers in such a manner as to allow the user the option to control the overall stereo volume of the system from either speakerʼs gain control. This makes the A3X a natural for "mixer-less” desktop applications where overall system volume needs to be adjusted easily. Controls and Connectors The front of the A3X sports dual ports for surprisingly low frequency response down to 60Hz. The front panel also has power and gain controls. The rear panel includes a tweeter gain control as well as balanced (XLR) jacks and unbalanced (RCA) jacks, allowing for greater connection flexibility. There are also two M6 (6 mm) metric screw threads for stand/wall mounting. The Twin6 Be is the best seller of the Focal Professional range and the most versatile work tool of the SM6 line. It represents the only necessary solution for recording, mixing and mastering. The image precision, treble definition as well as midrange neutrality are at the heart of its reputation.
The excellent articulation of the bass and midbass registers, even at very high sound levels, makes it an unavoidable reference for engineers who require absolute transparency. Furthermore, the design of the Twin6 Be permits a high SPL while at the same time offering a stable tonal balance. One of the two 6.5" woofers works in large band (midrange – bass) whereas the other reproduces from 40 to 150Hz. This creates a bass that preserves all the signal dynamics, without any masking effect in the midrange, thereby keeping all its neutrality and transparency. Additional control of the bass register is accomplished by fine-tuning on the control plate on the back of the Twin6 Be in order to obtain a perfect mirror configuration with its mate. The Twin6 Be can be installed vertically or horizontally to respond to the space requirements of each studio.

S3X-V
Using the newly developed 4” HexaCone midrange and 9” HexaCone woofer combined together with the X-ART tweeter creates the unique S3X-V control monitor.
