The CT 118 Sub is a direct-radiating bass reflex subwoofer designed for use in
active sound reinforcement systems. It was developed specifically for deployment
in combination with the HK AUDIO ConTour Series? cabinets CT 108, CT 112
and CT 115. Loaded with a neodymium woofer, the CT 118 Sub is extremely
compact and lightweight. Delivering uniform bass response, it renders impulses
with accuracy and authority even at peak loads. The CT 118 Sub is the perfect
choice of bass bin for high-performance front-of-house systems and drum/side fills.
The CT 118 Sub can be retrofitted with an optional passive crossover. The passive
crossover is equipped with true low-pass and high-pass filters for the sake of
configuring basic satellite systems without having to resort to extra power amps or
active crossovers. This makes it the ideal no-hassle option for enhancing lowend response.
For maximum performance, it is recommended that this enclosure be operated with
an HK AUDIO DSM 2060? Controller or an HK AUDIO Digital Field Controller? (DFC)
in combination with a DFC network. Application scenarios: Low-frequency enhancement
for setups entailing CT 108, CT 112 and CT 115 speakers. Technical Data:

The Sub 1.18 is the ideal bass extension for the Corus C 12.2 or C 15.2 full-range cabinets.
In the low frequency range between 38 Hz and 250 Hz a Electro-Voice EVS-18S woofer in direct-radiator bass-reflex design produce an max. SPL of 130 dB.
Thanks to their low-pass filter, the Sub 1.18 can be operated simply in parallel mode to existing full-range cabinets. Also recommended, naturally, is the combination with the DSP 260 or DSP 600 and power amplifiers from the SL or LX series for the creation of active two-way systems.

that renders a very natural-sounding image even at peak loads. The 60° x 40° horn to which this
driver is coupled ensures uniform system directivity that is sure to delight performing musicians,
sound techs, and audiences alike.
Professional Features
The new PREMIUM PR:O series? high-value interior is reflected in the exterior?s smart appearance
and modern appointments. The ergonomically shaped and positioned handles are recessed into the
enclosures, with no projecting parts or screws that could ruin auto upholstery. In addition, the full-range
models feature countersunk rigging points for fast, professional fixed installation. For added convenience,
the subwoofer is pre-fitted with threaded bushings to accept optionally available casters. The ingeniously
simple DuoTilt? pole mount gives you a choice of angles at which to aim the speakers directly at your
audience, but without the hassle and risk of wobbly tilt units.
