The HK AUDIO? DSM 2060 Digital Speaker Management System is a digital controller rich
in practical features for both touring and fixed installations. With its innovative HFT? Hardman
Filter Technology, it exceeds standard requirements and offers the kind of high-end audio quality
that until now could only be obtained from considerably higher priced units.
The HK AUDIO? DSM 2060 system incorporates high-end 24-bit, 96-kHz converters that ensure
extremely accurate and natural digital signal processing and a frequency response up to 40 kHz.
The two inputs and six outputs can be configured separately for front-of-house and monitor use in
touring applications, and likewise allow for a great deal of flexibility in fixed installation projects.
To best meet the needs of any given venue, you can apply as many as six parametric EQs plus
two shelving filters to each input and output channel. To facilitate setup of delay zones and time
alignment of loudspeaker components in multiamped systems, the DMS 2060 offers input delays
up to 400 ms and output delays up to 80 ms. For greater speaker and driver protection different
limiters can be applied to each output in steps as fine as 0.2 dB. Attack and release times of these
limiters are optimally preconfigured. At the heart of the controller is a comprehensive set of crossover
types, including Butterworth, Bessel, and Linkwitz- Riley, with selectable slopes from 6 to 24 dB.
Unique to the HK AUDIO? DSM 2060 are the fourth-order and eighth-order HFT? filters that create
crossover slopes of 36 dB and 52 dB. But unlike other steeply sloped filters, the HFT? crossover
achieves absolutely minimal phase shift and group delay, even at maximum slopes, thereby maintaining
an extraordinarily natural-sounding signal. As a result, HFT? produces exceptionally smooth response
in the crossover region and faster roll-off rates, which in turn minimise distortion, permit lower crossover
frequencies and safely expand the effective frequency range of the drivers. This technology allows you to
take maximum advantage of your sound system’s headroom and increase its operational reliability at the
same time.

Full-featured Speaker Processing in a 1U Space
Speaker processing can be a complicated business requiring a substantial array of equipment, but the Yamaha SP2060 offers everything you need in a single rack space. This innovative 24-bit, 96-kHz digital speaker processor delivers excellent sound quality, an impressive variety of processing functions — gain, delay, PEQ, comp, crossover, limiter, and an all-pass filter for phase adjustment — and intuitive programming from Yamaha's DME Designer application running on a personal computer. It has two analog inputs and six analog outputs, plus two AES/EBU format digital inputs for connectivity with a broad range of systems. And if you use Yamaha Installation Series Speakers, all you need to do is select one of the many optimized presets provided for great sound with minimum measurement and setup time. The SP2060 is a compact, portable 1U unit that is ideal for live sound or installations.

The ARX EC-2 is a flexible yet affordable 24 dB per octave Phase Correct active crossovers.
It has 2 modes of operation; as either Stereo 2 way or a Mono 3 way units, with a switch on
the back panel selecting either mode.

Features
Ultra low noise circuitry
Totally phase aligned at crossover point
Switchable Dual Channel 2 way or Single Channel 3 way
Unique 'semi-fixed' crossover point
24dB per octave (Fourth Order) Linkwitz-Riley filters
Separate Summed Mono Output
Balanced Inputs and Outputs
Built in High Pass filters
Intuitive, 'user friendly' layout
Flawless performance in any audio environment

Tamper-Proof Crossover Points
The crossover points are determined internally by the value of 4 resistors per channel; changing
the resistor value changes the crossover point. This 'semi fixed' method avoids the pitfalls of
externally adjusted crossover points, making the crossover points tamper-proof once they are set.
Idle fingers can't fiddle with the crossover points and create havoc with the system!
As a handy guide, a list of common crossover points and their corresponding resistor values are
printed inside the unit's lid, and also set out in the Owner's Manual.
On the front panel are level controls for Low and High in dual channel 2 way mode, and Low, Mid
and High in single channel 3 way mode, with corresponding Outputs on the rear panel.

Balanced Inputs and Outputs
EC-2 has Balanced Inputs and Outputs, on XLR connectors.
The EC-2 also has an additional summed Mono Low output, for applications that need a Mono Low
feed (e.g. Left and Right full-range plus a single Sub Bass speaker).
High Pass Filter
There is also a preset 30 Hz HighPass filter to remove unwanted subsonics which can damage speakers
and waste amplifier power.
In addition, each output has up to +6 dB of gain available, to compensate for amplifiers and speakers of
differing sensitivities.
Universal AC Power
AC power range is a universal 100 to 120V or 220 to 240VAC, and is connected to the unit via a standard
IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage change switch.
Uncompromising Audio Quality
Innovative circuit design is pointless unless it delivers stunning sound quality, and here the EC-2 excels.
It has been designed for uncompromising audio quality, and to achieve this, Linkwitz Riley 24dB (Fourth
Order) state variable filters are used throughout, ensuring a smooth Phase Correct transition through the
crossover region.
From Stage Monitors to Studio Monitors, from Front of House to the Front room of your House, the ARX
EC-2 is a crossover that is suited to any application that requires flawless, transparent sound.
You'll never compromise on Quality when you choose ARX
