| | | Details | | The IL 115 Sub is a very compact subwoofer, which extends the frequency response of the loudspeakers IL 8.1, IL 12.2 and IL 15.2 in the bass range. It is equipped with a direct loaded 15“-cone loudspeaker in a bass reflex housing and has a built-in passive crossover. The IL 115 Sub stands out through its powerful, low-distortion and thus natural bass reproduction with compact dimensions. It is ideally suitable for acoustic applications in which the bass range of existing loudspeaker systems should be extended for distances of up to 20 m depending on sound pressure requirements. A controller is not required for operating the IL 115 Sub. It is possible, however to use the Digital Field Controller (DFC).

Yamaha realized more than 40 years ago that simply building systems around speaker units bought from other manufacturers would not do, initiating a long and arduous but fruitful quest for ideal speaker performance based on original technology. Along the way innovative Yamaha speaker technology has resulted in a number of breakthrough products that established new performance standards in a number of critical fields.
Yamaha\'s new Installation Series Speakers address a number of important issues that give them unprecedented performance and handling characteristics for live sound applications, including permanent installations. In particular, phase characteristics have been kept smooth and consistent throughout the entire series, so you can mix and match speakers to suit any system and venue without ending up with hot and dead spots due to phase interference. And of course sonic quality is superb throughout the entire reproduction range so the full impact of the source material reaches the audience undiluted.

The TX1181 is the perfect companion sub to the TX1122 and TX1152 for compact and portable performance. Using the proven EVS18S woofer, the TX1181 effortlessly provides the low-frequency energy needed to keep up with Tour X boxes, as well as many other EV loudspeaker products. The integrated, low-pass input filter allows for single amp drive, and the high-sensitivity and excellent power handling don\'t require a large, expensive amplifier to generate high SPL. The TX1181\'s unique Backbone grille not only looks great, but also provides greater strength and damage resistance than simple grille block designs. Proprietary, ergonomically correct handles and angled input panels, and integrated, screw-in-style pole-mount make the TX1181 easy to transport and employ in a variety of applications.
