BL JRX118S PA Subwoofer Cabinet (18 Inch, 350 Watts)
The RKX118S is a 1x18" compact (passive) subwoofer, rated at 1400 watts peak power capacity and 350 watts continuous. It includes a newly designed JBL 18" woofer with a cast frame and 3" voice-coil. Dimensions: 23.5 x 20.3 x 22“, 71 lbs (32.2 kg).
JBL designed the new JRX100 series for cost-conscious musicians, DJs and other users of live sound reinforcement speakers. All full-range models feature Neutrik? Speakon? and 1/4" input connectors. JRX100 cabinets are constructed of carpet-covered, 3/4" MDF - a material that is structurally and acoustically superior to the particleboard that is used by many competitive products. To minimize distortion, heavy gauge wire is used for inductors and SonicGuard? high-frequency driver protection guards against damage caused by inadvertent overpowering of the system. The JRX115 and JRX112M's innovative, new dual-angle pole socket allows them to be mounted in either a conventional, vertical position, or with a 10 degree down angle. By aiming the speaker down, you get more even audience coverage and reduce the destructive acoustic reflections from walls. JBL constructs the JRX enclosures with advanced adhesives and closely mechanically spaced fasteners, not just glue. They use non-resonant, all metal handles, and an 18-gauge, full metal grille. At the heart of the PREMIUM PR:O full-range cabinets is a new 1" driver with ultra-low-distortion
that renders a very natural-sounding image even at peak loads. The 60° x 40° horn to which this
driver is coupled ensures uniform system directivity that is sure to delight performing musicians,
sound techs, and audiences alike.
Professional Features
The new PREMIUM PR:O series? high-value interior is reflected in the exterior?s smart appearance
and modern appointments. The ergonomically shaped and positioned handles are recessed into the
enclosures, with no projecting parts or screws that could ruin auto upholstery. In addition, the full-range
models feature countersunk rigging points for fast, professional fixed installation. For added convenience,
the subwoofer is pre-fitted with threaded bushings to accept optionally available casters. The ingeniously
simple DuoTilt? pole mount gives you a choice of angles at which to aim the speakers directly at your
audience, but without the hassle and risk of wobbly tilt units.

PREMIUM PR:O Series mid/high units and monitors are equipped with special protective circuitry.
Located in the high-frequency signal path, it limits output levels whenever the 1" driver approaches
the overload threshold.

The S8028 is a compact, high-output bass reflex subwoofer for high output applications and large installations.
The system is equipped with two advanced neodymium 18” RCF precision woofers mounted in a clam-shell configuration. The two transducers couple to achieve tight and maximised output. Each 18” features massive vented neodymium magnets and 4” copper voice coil. The system is capable of producing a Max SPL of 138 dB and handles 2000 Watts AES.

The Sub 2.18 is a double 18“, high-power subwoofer for very high sound pressure levels: sensitivity 102 dB 1W / 1m, max. SPL 138 dB.
Boasting power handling of 1000W continuous and 4000W peak, the Sub 2.18 can be used universally for active two-way or three-way systems.
It is above all, however, the ideal companion to the C 25.2 for the creation of an active two-way system together with the DSP 260 or DSP 600 controllers and power amplifiers from the SL or LX series.
For easier transport, the Sub 2.18 is prepared for the optionally available DC-WK-C18 wheel kit.
