LD Systems LAX3USB 3-Channel USB Mixer with Phantom Power
The LAX 3 USB by LD Systems is the ultracompact interface for hard disc recording on home computers with a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz. It simply connects to the USB 2.0 port of the computer, which also supplies it with power. A power adapter with USB-A connector and a USB cable are included as an alternative power supply. The LAX 3 USB is compatible with all Windows and Apple operating systems from Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.5 upward.
The electronically balanced microphone channel with 20-volt phantom power and a maximum amplification of 50 dB has a combo socket and can also be used used as a mono line in channel. The line input L/R of the stereo channel 2/3 uses RCA sockets. Keyboards or drum machines, for example, can be connected here. The bass and treble of the microphone channel can be boosted or cut by up to 15 dB. Additional sliders set the position of the microphone channel in the stereo spectrum and the balance of the stereo channel. In addition, the LAX 3 USB has in- and outputs for an external sound source or recording device; the input can be switched to the master output and/or headphone/monitor output. The mix volume is controlled by two master controls separately for the master output and the headphone/monitor output.

16 mono inputs to a stereo mix output. Rackmount version of the GB2.
The highly-acclaimed and successful Soundcraft GB Series has gained another new member, the Soundcraft GB2R. This 19 inch rack-mountable mixer is designed specifically for smaller installations in churches and performance venues, or for small portable PA systems. It will also find friends in Broadcast where its high quality and feature set will be very appealing.
Features
19 inch Rackmountable console
16 channel version, with 16 mono inputs, Stereo Mix and Mono Sum Outputs and 6 Aux Outputs. - Total Inputs to Mix: 22
12.2 channel version, with 12 mono inputs and 2 stereo inputs, 1 Stereo Sub Group Output, Mix and Mono Sum Outputs, and 6 Aux Outputs - Total Inputs to Mix: 26 (when Mics used on stereo input)
Rotatable connector pod for top or rear cable entry
8 (GB2R-16) or 10 (GB2R-12.2) busses
2 full feature stereo inputs (GB2R-12.2 version)
GB30 Mic preamp and precision EQ on inputs
Switchable +48V phantom power on every mic input
100Hz Hi-pass filter
Direct outputs on every channel
100mm faders
Stereo Mix Output and separate Mono Sum output
Record output
Internal Universal switched mode PSU
Available in two variants, the GB2R offers either 16 mono inputs to a stereo mix output, or a 12.2 version with 12 mono inputs, two full-feature stereo inputs and 2 group busses, each model having 6 auxiliary sends.
As always with Soundcraft consoles, emphasis has been placed on operational simplicity, clear and intuitive layout and the highest possible audio performance. The Soundcraft GB2R inherits both the GB30 Mic preamplifier and GB30 Equaliser designs from the GB4 and GB8.
For ease of installation, the connector section is contained in a rotatable pod, allowing cable access from the top of the mixer if sat on a table-top, or from the rear when mounted in a 19 inch rack.
On the stereo inputs on the 12.2 model, connectors are provided for both Mic and Line inputs. With Mic signals routed to the local channel, the Line inputs are available as stereo returns to the main mix bus. Two stereo returns and a 2-track (for example CD replay) input are provided, which means that the GB2R-12.2 model can offer up to 26 inputs to mix in a mixer just 19" (485mm) wide.
Every input has a pre/post switchable direct output for recording or effects sends, while an internal universal voltage PSU avoids external power supply connections.
The whole GB Series carries the high quality hallmark with which Soundcraft is synonymous, with engineering and design as you'd expect from this high-end manufacturer. Careful attention has been given to the mechanical construction, to ensure reliability and ruggedness under strenuous conditions, with all input modules being constructed with individual vertically-mounted pcb's, fitted to the steel chassis front panel with individually-nutted potentiometers.
The LX7 combines the essential Soundcraft live mixer qualities
with basic recording-oriented features, in a compact frame that's
light enough for one person to carry yet easy to configure and use.
This makes it especially suitable for multi-purpose use in venues
such as small halls and community centres, while its direct channel
outputs make the LX7 an ideal choice for bands who need a live desk
that can double up in the studio.
Housed in a choice of 16, 24 or 32 channel frame, LX7 provides 24,
32 or 40 inputs - with no less than 7 separate bus outputs including
mix, 4 groups and a dedicated mono bus for centre speaker clusters,
side or rear fills. The output count rises to 29 with the inclusion of direct
outs on the first 16 mono inputs and six auxiliary busses.
LX7's balanced mic inputs all use patented Ultramic preamps,
providing 60dB of gain range and 22dBu of headroom. Each input
also includes 4 band EQ with two swept mid frequency controls.
In addition, EQ In/Out switch and steep 18dB/Octave High Pass Filter,
allow effective audio control in difficult venues whilst the six auxiliary sends
are pre-post switchable in pairs from each channel, providing a maximum of
4 pre-fader and six post-fader. This makes LX7 equally applicable
for foldback - heavy performance or in situations where more effects are required.
LX7's groups section houses two further stereo inputs - with EQ, auxiliaries
for keyboards or stereo recording devices - as well as two FX returns. All four
groups are routable to mix and include 12 segment bargraph metering for
accurate monitoring and inserts. Six auxiliary masters on rotary controls also
included AFL soloing.
In the master section there is talkback provision to all pre-fade auxiliaries and
the mix. Global phantom power and a two track return for pre-show music are
also present. A "two-track" to mix switch allows the engineer to play CD's over
the main PA whilst back-stage set-up is going on, with one press of a button.
The mix is also routable to the separate mono bus if mono PAs are required.
LX7 is built in a rugged wedge-shaped steel chassis with an internal power supply,
professional all-metal jackfield and connectors on the rear of the console. All inputs and outputs are balanced.

Soundcraft FX16ii - rebirth of a classic
The Soundcraft FX16ii mixer uses the same AudioDNA processor featured in many of the Digitech and Lexicon outboard equipment including the highly respected Lexicon MX500 processor. With over 35 years experience, the Lexicon name is synonymous with the best reverb and processing in the business, ensuring the finest quality effects not usually found in a console at this price level.
The Soundcraft FX16ii offers a combination of powerful live and recording features; each channel has a Direct Output which is individually switch-able pre or post fader to enable use with 16-track recording systems. The Lexicon effects work just as well in the live as well as the recording environment with a tap tempo function, 3 parameter controls, user effects settings store ability, effects clip LED and 32 powerful and editable effects to choose from.
The use of the latest PCB surface mount technology means that the Soundcraft FX16ii fits all of these features into a rugged, compact frame which can be optionally rack-mounted into a 10U space via Soundcraft FX16ii's rotating connector pod which allows cables to be connected conveniently behind the rack and save rack space.
