Thunderbolt is the next-generation high-speed I/O technology that supports high-resolution displays and high-performance data devices through a single, compact port. It sets new standards for speed, flexibility, and simplicity. Imagine being able to connect a high-resolution display, uncompressed broadcast quality video I/O, and super high-speed storage to your Apple MacBook Pro, using a few Thunderbolt cables. With the HDX-SDI, that dream is now a reality.

Connect any video source to the HDX-SDI, from SD camcorders to todayʼs latest professional HD cameras, then log and capture HD or SD clips directly into your video editing software. For the best-possible image quality, capture uncompressed video via HD-SDI or HDMI with 4:2:2 10-bit color depth and full-raster 1920×1080 HD resolution. Many cameras feed their uncompressed SDI, HDMI or component output directly from the cameraʼs optics and imager, before compression, for absolutely pristine picture quality during capture with the HDX-SDI.

If you prefer to edit more conveniently at a lower data rate, use Apple ProRes, ProRes HQ, Avid DNxHD, or the codec of your choice in Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro. Because the HDX-SDI delivers 10-bit uncompressed video to the computer, you are not limited to a particular codec and are instead free to go with the host-based workflow of your choice, including many popular file-based formats now supported by todayʼs video editing software.

By using a codec directly supported by your editing software, you eliminate unnecessary extra stages of compression and decompression for maximum CPU efficiency and smooth editing. As you edit, monitor your timeline with pixel-for-pixel accuracy on a large plasma screen via digital HDMI output, with color-corrected balance on an LCD reference monitor via HD-SDI output, or with the real-world look of a consumer display via analog HD or SD component, composite or S-Video output.

Capture and monitor up to 16 channels of audio (analog, AES/EBU or embedded) at sample rates up to 96 kHz. Employ Sony 9-pin machine control for advanced Batch Capture and Edit to Tape operations. Keep everything frame-accurate using time code and video reference. From initial capture to final finishing, the HDX-SDI delivers exceptional video I/O performance and quality.

The GO46 FireWire interface from Yamaha provides a means to stream
high-quality 24-bit/192kHz digital audio and MIDI into a computer. Connect
it to a laptop, and you've got a rugged and portable interface that can go
anywhere you go, hence the name "GO46." This box is the ideal interface
for great-sounding audio on the "GO."

Premium Mic Pres and Inputs
The GO46 features combo mic/line terminals (for both XLR and phone jack)
on the front panel. Phantom power is also available and independently
switchable for each input channel. In other words, you can use a condenser
microphone on channel 1 with phantom power switched on to capture the
delicate sounds of a vocal while simultaneously recording an electric/acoustic
guitar plugged into channel 2. These combo inputs are captured at up to 24-bit/
192kHz resolution. This pro-level quality makes the GO46 perfect for any type
of recording, and allows you to capture the full details and nuances of the
original source - from the breathiness of a vocal to the delicate finger slides of
an acoustic guitar performance.

FireWire Connectivity
The FireWire equipped GO46 not only offers the convenience of one plug
connection to a computer, but the GO46 can be powered via bus power
from the FireWire port. Connect the GO46 to the FireWire terminal of a

that will fit in a backpack. This is also great for using the GO46 in places
where electrical outlets can be scarce, like local clubs.

Flexible Connectivity Including S/PDIF, Insert Points, and MIDI
In order to maximize the flexibility of the GO46, Yamaha included virtually
any kind of connection you might need on location recording gigs. Two
insert points allow for connection to outboard gear like compressors or EQs.
MIDI in/out allows for connection of MIDI sound modules or instruments.
S/PDIF jacks are great for inputting digital signal from another interface or
throughputting the GO46 signal to a digital mixer, separate digital recorder,
or any other digital device.

The Traveler-mk3 is MOTU's most advanced FireWire audio interface. Once again it raises the bar with innovative new features, enhanced standard features that remain unique, superb sound and reliable performance.

Engineered for high-end mobile recording applications, the Traveler-mk3 delivers four very high quality mic inputs, bus power, optional battery power and DSP-driven mixing and effects processing.

The Traveler-mk3 provides eight channels of pristine 192 kHz analog recording and playback, combined with twenty channels of digital I/O in ADAT optical, AES/EBU and S/PDIF formats. Expand your system by connecting additional MOTU FireWire audio interfaces or the 8pre mic input expander.

The Traveler-mk3 is equally well-suited for studio, stage and remote locations, with or without a computer. As an interface or stand-alone mixer, the Traveler-mk3 provides 28 separate inputs and 30 separate outputs, including four XLR/quarter-inch "combo” mic/instrument analog inputs equipped with pre-amps, individual 48V phantom power switches and Digital Precision Trim™ controls conveniently adjusted from the front panel or CueMix FX™ software.

MOTU FireWire audio interfaces are fully compatible with FireWire 800-equipped Macs. All you need is a standard FireWire 400-to-800 cable. Just plug in and go. The FireWire bus operates at 400 Mb/sec, providing the same high speed, low latency and rock solid reliability that MOTU FireWire interfaces are known for.

Connect all of your audio instruments and gear, including mics, guitars, synths, keyboards, drum machines and even effects processors. Record, monitor, route and process all of these live inputs using the professional on-board CueMix FX digital mixer with no latency and no processor strain on your computer. Apply hardware DSP-driven effects processing to inputs, outputs, and busses independent of your host computer.

Add Classic Reverb™ with lengths up to 60 seconds. Further sculpt your sound with 7-band parametric EQ featuring filter types carefully modeled after British analog console EQs. Choose between two forms of compression: a conventional compressor and the Leveler™, an accurate model of the legendary LA-2A™ optical compressor that provides vintage, musical automatic gain control. When recording from the four mic/guitar inputs, the Traveler-mk3ʼs signal overload protection gives you an extra 12 dB of headroom above zero with no clipping or harsh artifacts.

After programming the on-board mixing in the studio, unplug the Traveler-mk3, remove the rack brackets, and take it on the road for operation as a portable, bus-powered audio interface for a laptop or battery-operated stand-alone mixer with effects. The Traveler slides easily into your backpack and fits neatly beneath your laptop. All mixing and effects parameters are adjustable using the front panel backlit LCD. Record extended sessions even in the most remote locations with the complete freedom of field battery power.

The Traveler-mk3 provides cross-platform compatibility with Mac and Windows and all of your favorite audio software and host-based effects via WDM/ASIO/Core Audio drivers. Or you can use the included AudioDesk workstation software for Mac, with 24-bit recording/editing and 32-bit mixing/processing/mastering.
