The PowerCon True1 is a locking true mains connector. It replaces appliance couplers wherever a very rugged solution in combination with a locking device is needed in order to guarantee a safe power connection.
The powerCon True1 is a connector with breaking capacity (CBC), i.e. it can be connected or disconnected under load or live.

PowerCon? is a lockable 3-pole equipment (AC) connector with contacts for line,
neutral and premating safety grounds. Color coded for easy identification, PowerCon?
offers power-in (blue) and power-out (gray) versions with different keying to avoid
the possibility of short circuiting. The contacts are designed to prevent damage from
arcing when disconnected while under load. PowerCon? meets or exceeds the
demands of applications in the fields of A/V usages, test and measurement equipment,
computers or industrial designs. UL recognized, SEV and VDE approved. Rated at
20A/250VAC.

Especially for the more demanding projects where several different product groups need to be powered up, Showtec introduces colour coded 230V Schuko connectors. Identifying separate light or audio groups will be a lot easier by using the colour coded IP44-protected schucko connectors. If gear needs to be powered up in a certain order or if your lights need to be connected, here is your answer. Once in use, the colours are invisible and the connector will appear in standard entertainment black.
