  • Supports uncompressed 2-channel LPCM (Linear Pulse Code Modulation) audio signals.
  • Supports compressed 2-channel and multi-channel Dolby Digital and DTS audio signals.
  • Ideal for presentation or distribution to another room.
  • The optical (Toslink) digital audio splitter can split a single optical digital input to four outputs without delay or loss of quality.
  • Supports the S/PDIF and Toslink standard.
Your TV has 1 Toslink output, but you use 2 amplifiers. This requires the Toslink cable to be split from 1 into 2. An additional amplifier could be, for example, a surround set, a sound bar of an amplifier in the kitchen.

The distribution of mono and stereo balanced audio signals from a single source to multiple destinations has many applications including multi-zone sound reinforcement installations, live sports events coverage, broadcast studios, video suites, duplication or indeed anywhere high quality audio has to be distributed to a number of locations down long cable runs.

The Drawmer DA-6 is a six channel stereo (or twelve channel mono) distribution amplifier featuring XLR balanced inputs and outputs with optional transformer balancing where remote amplifiers and recorders are fed from separate power supplies.

The stereo Input features individual left/right level controls with LED bargraph metering enabling the correct balancing of stereo material or two mono signals. Each of the six outputs incorporate further left/right level controls and a Mono/Stereo switch providing the selection of either one stereo output or two mono outputs per channel. This feature allows the DA-6 to function as either a 1 x stereo input/6 x stereo outputs or 1 x mono input/12 x mono output unit or any combination of the two.

The output section consists of a Channel Select so that the individual left/right output level of each channel is displayed on the output LED bargraph and can be monitored by the Headphone jack socket. A pair of auxiliary link stereo jack sockets (TRS) are provided via the rear panel for connection to further DA-6 units for the distribution of even more channels.

Features:
  • 1x6 Stereo Distribution Amp with Monitoring.
  • 1 set of stereo (2) XLR inputs.
  • 6 sets of stereo (2) XLR outputs.
  • Input stage has LED level meter.
  • Each output channel can be switched to mono.
  • Each output channel can be individually monitored.
  • Built-in headphone amp.
  • Optional transformer balanced outputs.
  • Electronically balanced inputs with individual left/right level controls.
  • LED metering on input for balancing stereo material or two mono signals.
  • Left / Right level controls on each output with a stereo / mono switch.
  • Headphone jack to monitor output of selected channel.
  • LED metering on output of selected channel.
  • Auxiliary pair of balanced 1/4" output jacks for linking multiple DA6 units.

Superb Audio Quality
Active microphone and line signal splitting has a number of benefits over
using passive splitters: primarily these are improved sound quality, noise
figures comparable to the best microphone inputs, and increased resistance
to RFI.
About the MSX 32
With these benefits in mind, the ARX MSX 32 Active Microphone/Line Splitter
has been developed to deliver the performance required by the increasing
complexity of today?s standards of audio production.
The MSX 32 consists of eight channels of actively buffered ultra low noise
Microphone/Line Splitter. Each of these channels has four electronically Balanced
splits ? two outputs on the rear panel for Main and Monitor, plus two more output
splits on the front panel. All splits have the option of transformer balancing if so
specified. Each channel has a ?20 dB pad switch plus silently switchable 48V
Phantom power with indicator LED. A PFL switch and 6 LED metering enables
each channel to be easily checked with headphones for signal monitoring, and
also for line tracing when troubleshooting. Gain through the MSX 32 can be set
individually by the small DIP switches on the rear of each channel, from 0dB
through to +40 dB in 10 dB stepsA ?Link? switch links each channel to the previous
one, providing an ultimate maximum of 32 Outputs from a single input. An indicator
LED shows when this is active. A Clip LED indicates imminent signal overload
through the channel, and a numbered marker panel on the front provides a space
where individual channel connections can be noted.
Number stickers are provided to give each channel an individual number for up to
40 channels when multiple MSX32s are being used.Internally, powerful RF input
filtering removes both common mode and differential interference at ultrasonic frequencies
and above. High CMRR is achieved by the use of precision components throughout.
Advanced user options include internally jumper linking Inputs to Main outputs, and
Ground lifting Output Pins 1 as required.
Internal Power Supply
The MSX 32?s internal toroidal transformer based power supply is triple shielded to
get the maximum benefit from the ultra low noise design of the splitter circuitry.
An illuminated power switch on the front panel provides visual confirmation of AC
power connection to the unit. The headphone output and the 6 LED PFL metering
are both mounted on the right hand side of the front panel. Rear panel connectors
enable this function to be linked when using multiple MSX 32 units.
To sum up, this feature packed two RU device is the answer wherever transparent
signal buffering and routing is required.
