4K Ultra HD pass-through with HDR and 3D support via HDMI with the Pioneer VSX-531-K 5.1 Channel AV Receiver. It produces up to 80W of power per discrete channel at 8 Ohms for room-filling sound. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows you to listen to music wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth-capable device. You can also attach a USB drive to the USB port on the front panel to play your MP3, WMA, and AAC files.
The VSX-531-K is equipped with four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. The HDMI output supports ARC for the reproduction of TV-based audio, such as your TV's built-in Netflix or Hulu apps. It also features an on-screen GUI when connected to your TV via HDMI.
Discrete Amplification
Pioneer designed the VSX-531 AV receiver with a 5-channel discrete amplifier with the same quality on all channels delivering up to 80 Watts of power per channel.
Enhanced Low-Frequency Ambiance
The VSX-531 is designed to create a dynamic, lively, and realistic ambiance derived from the original sources, expressing the audio details as the artist intended. Most typical A/V receivers use a low-pass filter to process low-frequency signals for the subwoofer when amplifying multi-channel audio signals, causing low frequency "phase lag" from the main channels. The Pioneer Phase Control technology effectively eliminates phase lag, enriching the booming power of deep, low-frequency audio.
4K UltraHD Compatible
The VSX-531 supports 4K/60p/4:4:4 24-bit video signal transmission using HDCP 2.2 technology, ensuring compatibility with 4K UltraHD sources and televisions with HDR.
HD Audio Uncompressed
Enjoy enhanced sound reproduction with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD to deliver Blu-ray Disc soundtracks with augmented audio quality. The VSX-531 also supports Dolby and DTS surround formats, which are compatible with a wide variety of available entertainment sources.
Enhanced Detail
The VSX-531 incorporates Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever (ASR) to enhance the dynamic response from compressed music sources and restore the subtle details left out during the compression process. Geared towards use with WMA, AAC, and MP3 files played via disc or USB, ASR is designed to make music sound more realistic than before for augmented playback that sounds as close to the original recording.
