Content | The Radial JDX Direct-Drive delivers classic 4 x 12, half-stack, and open-back combo tones. On top of that, it gives you a presence switch for added sparkle. Operation is simple. The signal path starts with the 1/4" input jack, with a throughput (in case you'd want to feed an amp). That's followed by a dedicated tuner out, buffered to eliminate pickup loading and noise. Then comes the amp-simulating filters we mentioned. For output, you've got a 1/4" guitar-level out, and a balanced XLR to feed the board. The Direct-Drive is also fitted with polarity-reverse and ground-lift switches. So, there you have it: a DI that outputs definitive guitar amp tone. Quite remarkable. The Radial JDX Direct-Drive - every electric guitarist needs one.
Radial JDX Direct-Drive Amp Simulator and DI Features:
- Guitar amp simulation in a pedalboard-friendly direct box
- Eliminates the need to bring an amp to gigs
- 4 x 12, half-stack, and open-back combo tones
- Radial's JDX tone shaping for authentic guitar amp tone

The alphaton Direct Injection-Box SM-50 allows direct connection of electric guitars,
electric bass, and electronic music instruments with mixing desks of PA systems
and of recording studios.
The SM-50 reduces the amount of microphones used on stage, thus improving gain
before feedback.
Coloration of sound is avoided. Clean signal without interference from other instruments
eases the job of the recording engineer. The use of a strong aluminium die-cast box allows
trouble-free function for a number of years even under adverse conditions. Double grounding
(hum) can be eliminated by activating the built-in ground-lift switch. Isolation voltage between
input and output is 2500 volts, against ground 1500 volts (with ground-lift switch activated).
The box thus complies with toughest safety standards.

| With added functionality and enhanced audio performance, the AR-133 has been
designed to be more affordable for musicians, studios and PA companies.
The unit includes phantom power and battery supplies as standard. Should the
phantom power from the console fail or be accidentally switched off, the AR-133
automatically switches over to the internal 9V battery providing uninterrupted use.
The unit is housed in a rugged aluminium extrusion case, with robust polyurethane
end-cheeks which give the AR-133 a very distinctive look.
Input connectors are both 1/4" jack sockets and an XLR socket, the latter meaning
that the AR-133 can be used to convert unbalanced signals to a balanced output on
XLRs throughout.
The arched case allows cables to run back underneath the unit from the end for neat
cable management.
Input attenuation is 0, -20 or -40dB, making the box suitable for instrument, line or
amplifier levels on inputs. On the output side, a ground-lift switch is provided for quick
solutions to ground-loop problems.
The AR-133 uses an enhanced version of the same audio path as the AR-116, now
regarded by many people as a reference standard. The sound quality is legendary,
particularly on acoustic and bass guitars.
Numerous applications can be satisfied by the AR-133. For example, as well as the
traditional guitar use, the AR-133 can be used with keyboards, DJ consoles, amplifier
outputs, and other electronic sources. An additional bonus is the ability to use the AR-133
as an active balancing device.

Active DI-Box SM-60
The electronic Direct-Injection Box SM-60 allows direct connection of electronic music instruments such as keyboards, synthesizers, electric and electronic pianos, etc. with mixing consoles in PA-systems and in recording studios. The SM-6 is designed for applications, where a passive DI-Box does not perfom satisfactorily, i.e., where the output level of a passive DI-Box is too low for the microphone input section of the mixing desk. Because the input impedance of the SM-6 is above 5 MOhm, instrument outputs are not loaded or in any other way adversely affected. The voltage ratio from input to output is 1: 1 and is always sufficient for connection with any microphone input. Input connectors are 1/4" phone jacks, output connector is a Switchcraft D3M; output is 600 Ohms, transformer balanced. The output level may in certain cases overload microphone inputs - the line input section of the mixing console must then be used for connecting the SM-6. The unit operates with a 9 V battery or phantom powering from 24 to 48 volts.
