The Reloop Beatmix 4 is a performance-oriented 4-channel pad controller for Serato. Both companies have teamed up, to develop a 'fun to use' 4-Channel controller for the worldwide popular DJ software Serato to work seamlessly plug 'n' play: Connect and start mixing.

Beatmix 4 offers an ergonomically designed 4-channel mixer layout, optimized for the club allowing you to work intuitively: Dedicated equalizer and gain dials, high-quality line-faders, an extremely smooth-running crossfader, 16 multi-colour drum pads, as well as two extensive FX units are the foundation for your creativity.
virtual needle position
Ultra flat, touch-sensitive jog wheels with aluminium platters and a diameter of 14.4 cm guarantee selectively precise beat matching, fast searching within tracks, and an authentic vinyl feel. Furthermore, the implemented LED technology on the surface and border of the jog wheels always show you the virtual needle position.
pad section
The rubberised pad section is the place for trigger action and creative ideas in the mix: The 3 cm large drum pads are used to control cue points, trigger loops, select various loop lengths, and also trigger samples. Any danger of confusion is ruled out: The colour-coded trigger pads give visual feedback regarding status and mode selection – this way you will always be in control, especially in dark surroundings.

Overview
Designed for Serato® software users, specifically for "Serato DJ,” the DDJ-SP1 is a slim and compact sub-controller that uses multiple performance pads, controls, buttons, and knobs to trigger a variety of unique audio samples and effects. The DDJ-SP1 is designed to be the ideal companion to Pioneerʼs new DJM-900SRT mixer but can also be matched with other systems via its MIDI controller functionality.
Software
The DDJ-SP1 is made for Serato software users who want to add effects when using a professional DJ setup of two players and a mixer such as the DJM-900SRT. With the sub-controller, DJs can enhance their performances with multiple effects, similar to what\'s being done with our extremely popular DDJ-SX controller for Serato DJ. The DDJ-SP1 includes a free of charge download of a Serato Video plug-in (valued at more than $100). The plug-in is compatible with Serato DJ, Scratch Live and ITCH, that makes it extremely easy for users to insert video, effects and image files with music.
Serious Audio Effects
- Performance Pads – Sixteen Performance Pads on the sub-controller for seven different functions including Hot Loop, Auto Loop, Manual Loop, Hot Cue, Roll, Slicer, and Sampler. A "Sampler Velocity" function determines the output volume of the sample based on how hard the pads are struck. Each pad can be assigned as a hot cue point, and its blue illumination will signify its state of play for instant graphic feedback.
Sampler Volume Fader - In between the the performance pads is a volume slider to control output of the trigger pads. The convenient location of the slider enables quick volume adjustment during finger drum performances.
- Slip Mode – Pioneer included a Slip Mode function that enables continuous music playback in the background even when loops and hot cues are being performed. The functionality can also be used with players and controllers that support Serato DJ but not Slip Mode.
- FX Knobs/Buttons – The integrated knobs and buttons are arranged for Serato DJ software for operation of iZotope® effects.

A noticeable difference is the new large jog wheels. These offer more responsive touch-sensitivity, giving you precise control when scratching ad nudging to ensure your beats are beatmatched perfectly.
There\'s two new modes. Jog mode is the classic spin-to-nudge function, as well as scratch capability. The Beatgrid adjust mode allows you to use the jog wheel to manually adjust the beatgrid in Traktor.
Essential Traktor Control
The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 features a layout that is designed for perfect Traktor software integration. The controls are all familiar, allowing for you to easily get to grips with each control and function. The controls and knobs are already assigned to work with Traktor Pro 2. However, you can also customise the mapping.
Intuitive Controls
The Traktor Kontrol S2 offers a range of controls for providing seamless, creative mixing. It offers all the essential Traktor features including sturdy EQ/FX knobs, precision jog wheels, and remix decks. The Kontrol S2 enables you to mashup tracks and create loops easily on-the-fly. Use the remix decks to perform and switch through your hot cue points. The dedicated loops section allows you to create loops and easily adjust loop length whilst performing. The Kontrol S2 also features an extra remix channel alongside the 2 deck channels to allow for smooth mixing of the remix decks. The dedicated FX section aat the top is already assigned with Traktor Pro 2, allowing you to easily add FX to create excitement in your mix.
