Soundcraft GIGRAC 1000 NEW :
The Gigrac 1000 has the same cool styling of the GigRac 300 and 600,
but is a more powerful full stereo version, featuring expanded 3-band EQ
on the inputs, two 7-band graphic equalisers and 10 high-quality preset
digital effects. The 1000st is slightly higher than its brothers at 5U
(8.75 inches/223mm) but still this tiny package delivers awesome power
and performance, with the ability to be slung over your shoulder.
As with the GigRac 300 and 600 models, there are two output signal paths,
one for the main front-of-house output and one for stage monitors. In normal
stereo use, the two power amps deliver a full 500W of power (@ 4 ohms)
to the Main (FOH) output, but the 1000st can be switched to provide 500 watts
to the Main output and 500 watts to the Monitor outputs.

The Phonic Powerpod Series are powered mixers in a compact and durable design. The new BEHRINGER PMP Powered Mixers (2 x 800-Watt stereo, 1600-Watt bridged mode) produce even more power than their predecessors while maintaining a famously low weight and high efficiency. These mixers employ Class-D technology including a new switch-mode power supply, significantly reducing weight and heat. The 20-channel PMP6000 features 12 built-in XENYX preamps, the 16-channel PMP4000 features 8 built-in XENYX mic preamps, and the 10-Channel PMP1680S features 8 high-quality built-in mic preamps. What is Class-D Technology?
Instead of operating relatively continuously like Class AB circuits, Class-D amps switch on and off thousands of times per second, delivering power only when needed. In other words, the amplifier is either fully on or fully off , which significantly reduces power losses from the output devices given off as heat. Less heat means our amps donʼt need massive heat sinks, and that means we can make them lighter. Our no-compromise design means the new PMP mixers will deliver full power with incredible fidelity all night long, without the need for lengthy rest cycles.
When used in conjunction with switching-mode power supplies, which donʼt require huge and heavy transformers, our Class-D amplifiers provide tremendous dynamic punch and superior fidelity. The resulting speaker systems are much lighter, making them easy to transport and set up.
