TECHNICS SL-1210 GR Direct Drive Turntable WITH 2M QUINTET BLUE CARTRIDGE

The directly driven Technics SL-1210GR has an extremely high quality core and brushless motor for a vibration-free drive. The Technics SL-1210GR becomes a real heavyweight thanks to the superbly crafted 2-layer sandwich chassis and the heavy-duty aluminium die-casting plate, which is rubber-coated inside for resonance damping. High-quality RCA sockets and a connection for the power cord make the hearts of HiFi fans beat faster.

The high-end turntable is equipped with the medium-heavy, S-shaped aluminium arm – including removable headshell with SME connection. The tonearm is light and easily height-adjustable.

Extreme robustness, fast start-up times and the easy assembly of different pickups are still the hallmarks of Technics turntables today. Older records are also reproduced in an impressive width.

A beautifully designed bonnet with the legendary arch over the tonearm is also included.

ORTOFON TA-210 TONERAM

The Ortofon TA-210 tonearm has gone to the next level by reducing unwanted vibrations in the tonearm. TA-210 armtube is a lot less stressed than conventional armtubes due to the Technical rubber and TPE excellent damping properties.

FEATURES:

• TA-210 is a static balanced gimbal type arm, easy to use and adjust for optimal VTF settings
• TA-210 has a standard 5-pin DIN connector for tonearm cable
• The tonearm geometry allows for a Baerwald alignment (also the IEC recommendations)
• Counterweight with Inner/outer scale
  - Inner scale to be applied with main counterweight
  - Outer scale to be applied when extra mass ring is added
• Counterweight will work with headshell+cartridge mass approximately in the range 20 to 28g
• TA-210 is fitted with a standard headshell connector and can easily be adjusted in accordance with the included mounting template
• Extra mass ring, weight 45 g, for heavier cartridge and headshell combinations included (the extra mass ring may need to be attached to achieve proper tracking force)
