A damn high claim, but we are sure that we have achieved exactly that.
In terms of sound, the TAD 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE produces the powerful but always defined bass response known from the legendary american built NOS RCA 6L6GC, with clear, unobtrusive and yet transparent highs. In every setting, the TAD 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE responds directly and with noticeable dynamics, from buttery soft and warm to powerful and brutal without losing any details or depth.

Our Premium Matching> is an exact matching of power tubes with identical Plate Current (PC) and Transconductance (TC).
| These are the gold pin version of the standard ECC83. These tubes are immediately discerni-ble from other 12AX7. They have a construction that is similar to a frame-grid tube - similar to the Telefunken ECC803s. This construction makes them very rugged and reliable. This is one of the best new 12AX7 for any guitar amp. It is very musical - rich with great harmonics. An excellent tube in all Marshall amps in the three preamp positions. Factory selected tubes with gold pins. These tubes provide high gain without the usual noise and microphonic problems you would expect. This is great sound and value for your money. Perfect V2+ Preamp Tube - Good Gain - Tight Deep Bass - Fat Mid-range!!
The TAD 12AX7A-C / ECC83 TAD Premium Selected provides very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and silky top end with overall definition and brightness.
Selected with balanced systems and recommended for guitar amps to improve overall response.
Best for clean tones as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.
Recommended for all positions in amps with medium gain level or High-Gain Amps for V2+ positions.
As for V1 in general, but especially for higher gain amps or phono/audio-amps, we recommend the RT010 7025 Highgrade, the RT030 E83CC/7025 Highgrade or RT093-HG 7025-WB Highgrade

Matching and Selecting Options for Preamp Tubes
Matching in Pairs for preamp tubes means that two tubes show identical gain, hence, four characteristically identical systems.
This matching method includes our Balance-Selection. We highly recommend this matching method for hi-fi systems.
TAD Premium Selected/Highgrade tubes are guaranteed for a period of 6 months (according to terms of warranties)
for the quality criteria mentioned above.
| DescriptionNN095-Electro Harmonix 12AX7 / ECC83 Vacuum tube 12AX7ЕН, 12AX7SV is a miniature twin triode with equipotential cathodes, designed to amplify low frequency voltage in radio engineering devices. Top choice for gutiar / bass amp application with all the right ingredients. Excellent tonal bal-ance, harmonic content, low noise floor, and low microphonics. The tone is more vintage sounding, and also does very well in audiophile application. The 12AX7-EH tube has a nice balanced sound, a very low noise floor and excellent perfor-mance in terms of microphonics. The lack of microphonics is due in part to the return of a shorter plate structure and better materials.

Some claim the 6L6EH has been "Modeled after the vintage RCA 6L6GC "blackplate" and the 6L6EH features large plate dimensions".
To see what a real blackplate looks like see the picture on the right showing a RCA and a TAD blackplate small bottle 6L6.
Both are real black plate constructions and great for vintage guitar amps for pleasing smooth and fine complex tone structure. Best for any classic Fender Amplifier.
The 6L6EH is a very good choice for more modern hard rocking guitar sounds and recommened for this.
