Great for most Fenders, may not be well suited for high gain Fender type amps (such as Boogie). | DescriptionNN095-Electro Harmonix 12AX7 / ECC83 Vacuum tube 12AX7ЕН, 12AX7SV is a miniature twin triode with equipotential cathodes, designed to amplify low frequency voltage in radio engineering devices. Top choice for gutiar / bass amp application with all the right ingredients. Excellent tonal bal-ance, harmonic content, low noise floor, and low microphonics. The tone is more vintage sounding, and also does very well in audiophile application. The 12AX7-EH tube has a nice balanced sound, a very low noise floor and excellent perfor-mance in terms of microphonics. The lack of microphonics is due in part to the return of a shorter plate structure and better materials.

The TAD ECC81 / 12AT7-Cz is selected with regards to a tight balance of both triodes making it ideal for the use as BALANCED PHASE DRIVER. In addition to the perfect symmetrical systems, the strong amplification characteristics of the TAD ECC81 / 12AT7-Cz support increased dynamics of the output stage when used as phase driver or phase inverter tube.
