Designed for the most critical, ultra-low noise installations, the P-2300 IT E supplies up to 10 amps of balanced AC power ideal for recording studios, broadcast stations, video production facilities, or any environment requiring a pristine, studio-quality signal-to-noise ratio.

The P-2300 IT E features a specially wound and shielded toroidal balanced isolation transformer specifically designed to reduce hum pickup by sensitive equipment when ultra-low-noise is a must. Additionally, Furmanʼs revolutionary Series Multi-Stage Protection (SMP), Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS), and Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT) are combined to ensure what our customers have grown to expect from Furman — uncompromised protection and purification.

Symmetrically Balanced Power
Furmanʼs Symmetrically Balanced Power provides a virtually invisible noise floor by reworking incoming AC into a balanced power output. Similar to a balanced audio signal, balanced power splits a single voltage path into two separate voltage paths which are in opposite polarity, cancelling out noise and distortion on the incoming line. This noise reduction is extraordinarily efficient and linear across a huge frequency range, unveiling harmonics, overtones and low-level signals commonly masked by AC line noise.

The P-2300 IT Eʼs front panel LED window displays incoming voltage or output current, with ”Protection OK”, ”Extreme Voltage” and color-coded ”Voltage Range” indicators for comprehensive power monitoring. A front panel USB outlet charges most personal media devices and cell phones right at your equipment rack. Universal IEC C-13 receptacles (12 rear panel, 2 front panel) and a removable power cord ensure compatibility with regional power requirements.

The Furman PL-Plus C Power Conditioner protects your valuable equipment from mains power spikes and sags. Advanced Series Multi-Stage Protection Plus SMP+ circuit provides rock-solid, maintenance-free extreme surge suppression with zero ground contamination thanks to Furman Linear Filtering Technology LiFT. The Furman PL-Plus features 8 rear-panel AC mains outlets and one front-panel AC mains outlet, a 10-amp rating with circuit breaker, retractable LED rack lights with on/off/dimmer control, BNC back panel connector for gooseneck lamp with front-panel switch, and a segmented LED voltmeter to monitor and display incoming line voltage. The Furman PL-Plus C fits in one 19-inch rack space.

The Furman PL-PLUS C features LED rack lights which produce virtually no heat and provide an extremely long life. A dimmer control for the rack lights allows the user to adjust the level of illumination or simply switch the lights off. The Furman PL- PLUS C includes a rear mounted BNC jack which accepts any standard 12VAC, 0.5A gooseneck lamp for rear rack illumination, as well as a front panel switch which controls the gooseneck's operation

LiFT (Linear Filtering Technology)
Unfortunately, traditional AC filter/conditioners have been designed for unrealistic laboratory conditions. Prior technologies could actually harm audio and video performance more than they help, due to the resonant peaking of their antiquated, non-linear designs. Under certain conditions, these designs can actually add more than 10 dB of noise to the incoming AC line! Worse still, lost digital data, the need to reboot digital presets, or destroyed digital converters are frequently caused by excessive voltage spikes and AC noise contaminating the equipment ground. Furmanʼs SMP with LiFT takes another approach, ensuring optimal performance through linear filtering and no leakage to ground.

E.V.S. (Extreme Voltage Shutdown)
Furmanʼs trusted overvoltage circuitry protects against all too frequent accidental connections to high voltages by shutting off the incoming power until the overvoltage condition is corrected.

Rear Panel BNC Connector
For rear panel illumination, a BNC connector is provided for connection of any standard gooseneck lamp, such as the Furman GN-LED or GN-I (sold seperately).

Sequencing
The PS-8R E II Power Conditioner/Sequencers is capable of powering up a rack full of equipment in a 3-step delayed sequence. The sequence is reversed for power-down. The sequence can be initiated with either momentary or maintained switches, locally or remotely. A duplex outlet is provided for each delay step. One or more Furman PS-8R E IIʼs may be installed in remote locations and operated via low-voltage wiring.
