Yamaha realized more than 40 years ago that simply building systems around speaker units bought from other manufacturers would not do, initiating a long and arduous but fruitful quest for ideal speaker performance based on original technology. The passive dB500 has many of the same features as the dB500a, including the same rugged enclosure, and advanced drivers. A natural sounding fixed crossover is built-in, and the back panel features 1/4" and Speakon connectors.

The dB500 speaker cabinet features an array of mounting options. Designed with floor monitoring in mind, they are also easily stacked or permanently installed. A 1 3/8" pole receptacle is built in, and 10 reinforced fly points are available.

EV\'s Rx Series loudspeakers have become the go-to systems for contractors, regional sound companies, and anyone who wants to step up to high-end pro audio without blowing the budget. The Zx5 is a 15-inch, 2-way cabinet with the most elegant high-impact composite enclosure, featuring the newest generation of EV components: the all-new DXV3150, 500W, 15-inch woofer and the all-new 2-inch neodymium ND2 compression driver.
