Innovation The ARX COMPO? is a unique compressor/limiter designed for use in any professional audio dynamics control application, packaged in a compact 1 RU chassis.The COMPO operates as two independent compressor/limiters, with 'industry standard' variable Threshold, Ratio and Output gain controls. A Stereo Link switch on the front panel lets both channels track as a stereo pair in a Master/Slave configuration. Enhance Switch The COMPO features an 'Enhance' switch, which provides frequency restoration to preserve the spectral balance of the audio signal, compensating for the sagging Low and High frequency response of compressed program material. The best way to think of it is as a 'smart' loudness control. Wide Scale metering There is comprehensive LED indication of all operating functions and status. Above or Below Threshold LEDs on each channel give you instant visual confirmation of compressor activity, as well as easy to read LED Gain Reduction meters. Balanced Inputs and Outputs On the rear panel, each channel has true differential Balanced inputs and outputs, on both XLR and TRS jack connectors. About the DI6s It's a fact of audio life that a lot of equipment that has to be connected to professional audio systems isn't impedance or level compatible. Interfaces Unlimited Tape/cassette/DVD/CD decks, audio for video, drum machines, synthesizers, bass guitars, computers; at some stage all these need linking up to Balanced inputs, whether the application is Live sound, Studio or Broadcast. To solve these problems, we've developed the DI-6s:
Six active D.I. (Direct Injection) boxes, plus a 6 into 1 Line Mixer, plus a 1 to 6 Splitter, All of this in a compact, all steel 1 RU package.
A Pro Audio Toolbox This unique and flexible audio toolbox allows Six independent unbalanced audio sources to easily and quietly interface with Balanced pro audio systems, either to individual channels or summed down to one Master output. But that's not all. By pressing a single switch on the rear panel the DI6s will change from being Direct Boxes and a Mixer to being a 6 way Splitter (line distribution amplifier). Now it will split an incoming signal to 6 individual outputs or zones. On the front panel, each channel has 2 IN/OUT jacks, a level control from infinity (off) through 0dB to +15dB gain, and a Clip indicator LED.The Master section has a Master volume control and status LEDs indicating whether the unit is in DI or Splitter mode. In addition, as on all ARX single rack unit equipment, each channel has a numbered marker panel ('scribble strip') you can write on for easy confirmation of channel assigns. Balanced Outputs On the rear, each channel has an XLR Balanced output, with associated Ground lift switch and status LED, to isolate the chassis and electronic grounds. The Master section has both Balanced XLR and Unbalanced Jack outputs. In addition there is a Balanced XLR input with a switch to put the unit in either DI or Splitter mode. The dbx? 12 Series were designed to meet the needs of the most demanding sound reinforcement environments, while offering the simplicity of straightforward controls. The 1231 provides standard features like dual-channels, 31 1/3 octave bands, ISO frequency centers, +/- 12 dB input gain range, and switchable 40Hz/18 dB per octave low-cut filters, but also includes other insightful features. These include 45 mm faders; selectable +/-6dB or +/-15dB boost/cut range for precise gain adjustments; XLR, barrier strip, and 1/4'' TRS connectors for installation ease; balanced inputs and outputs for quiet operation; and chassis/signal ground lift capabilities for quick hum isolation. The dbx 12 Series Equalizers were precision engineered to provide years of maintenance-free operation in any application. The magnetically isolated transformer, electronically balanced/unbalanced inputs and servo balanced/unbalanced outputs, RF-filtered inputs and outputs, and power-off hard-wire relay bypass with 2 second power up delay were steps our engineers took to ensure compatibility for all installations. Only the best components were utilized, yielding a 10Hz to 50kHz frequency response, greater than 90dB SNR (ref +4dBu), less than 0.005% THD +Noise (1kHz at +4dBu), and interchannel crosstalk of less than -80dB from 20Hz to 20kHz. All this attention to detail is contained in a 3U steel/aluminum chassis.

The 1074 offers 4 channels of gating with threshold, depth and release controls on each channel. The 1074, like the rest of the products in dbx 10 Series, is based on the legendary dbx V2 VCA and offers XLR inputs and outputs, and 1/4” side-chain input. In addition to an external key input per channel, the 1074 also has an internal filter that can be independently activated and controlled on a channel-per-channel basis.
