The black Electro-Voice EVID-S12.1 is a 12” subwoofer designed to provide low-end reinforcement for system designers, installers, and audio engineers configuring systems for background and foreground music in stores, clubs, eateries, schools, and more. Its acoustic ports and 12” dual voice-coil, high-excursion woofer yield a frequency response of 40 to 140 Hz and a 127 dB maximum SPL.

Inputs and outputs utilize spring-loaded speaker terminals. The subwoofer can accept a stereo input and drive up to four satellite speakers (available separately). It includes hardware for mounting to a wall or corner and has an eyebolt for the attachment of a safety line.

The titanium diaphragm compression driver is mated to a 90 degree x 40 degree custom-designed horn. Internal electronics feature an over-built crossover network and overload protection. Connections are dual Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" jacks. The new Yamaha CW218V features a super durable, paintable, elastomeric-sprayed coating with foam lined acoustically transparent steel grilles. The Arco 12 Sub incorporates the new 122S dual coil 12” loudspeaker for bass reproduction which provides low frequency output to 30 Hz. The dual voice coil configuration of the loudspeaker allows the cabinet to reproduce both the left and right channel subwoofer frequencies.

The Arco 12 Sub cabinet uses a band-pass configuration. The enclosure is manufactured in MDF and is available in a black paint finish. An optional mounting accessory permits wall mounting. The connector panel provides stereo inputs and high-pass filtered satellite outputs for either Arco 4 or Arco 24 systems.

The Arco 12 Sub is ideal for foreground music and music/paging systems requiring bass reinforcement. Possible applications include restaurants, retail outlets, bars, music cafes, fitness centers, or any other indoor application.
