The Acoustic Energy Aegis centre is a high quality, powerful 2-way centre channel speaker for positioning above or below a television within a home cinema system. The 25mm silk fabric dome tweeter and twin 130mm light-weight natural alloy cone mid.bass units are mounted to the substantial 25mm MDF front baffle and reflex loaded through a high powered flared port to the rear of the 15mm MDF cabinet.
Effortless power handling up to 175 watts and a high sensitivity of 91db assist in providing a dialog speaker tonally matched precisely to partner the Aegis One, Two or Three loudspeakers for main stereo channel use.
Using a newly developed, LF 130mm high efficiency metal alloy mid/bass drive unit and the 25mm Ferro fluid cooled HF silk dome tweeter which are magnetically shielded makes this an ideal AV speaker with exquisite transparency, detail and clarity, awesome bass punch and dynamics coupled with high end efficiency and compatibility.
