  • The PC-80 is the easiest and most cost-effective way to put together your home studio or music lab. This 61-note keyboard offers power, flexibility, and a highly-expressive key mechanism. Unlike many compact USB keyboards, the PC-80 is designed to genuinely feel like a musical instrument. Each key is felt-lined and spring-loaded using a recently developed key mechanism that represents Rolandʼs 30 years of experience in the field. Never before has there been a USB MIDI Keyboard Controller built with the quality and technology of the PC-80. The PC-80 has built-in audio capabilities, and comes complete with a standalone GM2 software synth. This allows the PC-80 to function as a complete synth, all through one USB connection to the computer. Through this one connection, the PC-80 can draw power, send and receive MIDI, and send and receive audio.

The PCR-M80 is a revised version of the popular PCR-80 MIDI Keyboard controller. Like the PCR-80, the PCR-M80 offers direct connection to the computer through USB, plus 61 keys, 27 assignable MIDI controllers, a software editor, MIDI input and output, and sustain and expression pedal connections. Advancement the PCR-M80 has over the PCR-80: the addition of velocity curves, a switchable MIDI interface, and a new key-action that offers less mechanical noise and a consistent, playable feel.

Forty-nine full-size, expressive, touch-sensitive keys are accurate enough to capture the most subtle musical performance, but rugged enough to withstand the most heavy-handed playing styles. Pitch-bend and modulation controls give you the ability to add subtle nuances in real-time. The assignable Data slider can become any available MIDI controller from volume, to reverb, to pan position. Add a DP-series pedal, and you have complete control over the sound's sustain/hold. Its extended battery operation and ultra-light weight make the PC-180 a perfect choice for a mid-sized controller for the traveling musician. If you need full control and expression from your controller in a compact and affordable keyboard design, look no further than the Roland PC-180.

Edirol announced the PCR-1 at Winter NAMM, a new combo device that integrates a USB bus powered 24-bit/96kHz audio interface into a 25-key MIDI keyboard controller. The PCR-1 measures a mere 1-3/16" thick, weighs under 3 pounds & offers a wide variety of audio & MIDI features.

Edirol has devised a new technology known as "S.L.I.M." (Short-stroke Low-profile Impact Mechanism) which allows a compact MIDI keyboard to maintain reasonable playability.

This 25-Key MIDI Keyboard Controller offers full 128-step velocity sensitivity and the same control map support as its larger PCR siblings. The assignable controls can be assigned to send any MIDI message. Also, like the other PCRs, it offers 16 on-board Memory locations for saving control maps for your favorite software applications.

The audio features include stereo RCA input/outputs as well as a stereo mini headphone connection which doubles as an optical digital S/PDIF Port. The PCR-1 offers support for Mac & PC with WDM, ASIO, & Core Audio drivers.
