The 1960BV is the straight version that features 4 Marshall/Celestion Vintage speakers and is the perfect addition to your stage or recording rig! The Ultimate in Flexibility
To ensure the ultimate in flexibility, the 1960A (angled) and the 1960B (straight), is switchable between Mono (4 or 16 Ohms) and Stereo (8 Ohms per side). The two Mono impedance options provide extra amp matching capability while the cabinets' stereo capability makes them ideal for rack systems which typically run in stereo.
Low End That Never Gets Boomy
This has a thicker, warmer sound than the 1960A with a fat, well-defined midrange and a rounded high end that sparkles nicely while not being overly bright. It also has a good low end "chunk" which never gets "boomy.“

B (Base) cabinets offer some sonic differences. A straight cab sounds more focused and has more low-end thump. The additional size gives the cabinet a lower resonant frequency for more low-end. Their highly skilled craftsmen construct these 4x12s from the finest materials available - 15mm birch plywood with precision 'finger locked' (comb) joints, tough cotton backed PVC covering, heavy duty hardware and the highest quality fittings.
Weighing in at around 80 lbs, the JCM1960BV is made of 15mm birch plywood (except for the back panel, which is medium density fiberboard) and built for tone, projection, and durability. The majority of cabinet construction is done by hand.

The Marshall 1960TV Cabinet has an angled front; 4 - 12" Greenback speakers; and a warmer, thicker sound than the 1960A. This 100W, mono, 16-ohm cabinet is 3 inches taller than a standard 1960A 4x12 cabinet which results in well defined mid range and a lowered resonant frequency for more prominent lows. The 25W Greenbacks are less in your face than the 75W Celestions in the 1960A. Although not a reissue it was never offered in the past this cab recreates the classic look and tones of yesteryear.

Vintage 30
Back in 1986 a new breed of hard rock player was on the rise. To meet the demands of the players and their increasingly ʽhot-roddedʼ amplifiers, we set out to develop a modern speaker, capable of handling much more power and overdrive. To achieve this, we coupled our ʽHʼ magnet (the closest in performance to Alnico) with a new cone and voice coil employing contemporary materials.
Our most revealing speaker, the Vintage 30 features enormously detailed and complex overtones, a warm low-end, a famously rich vocal mid-range and a beautifully detailed top-end.
